BARFTRON HOMEBASE

Just found out from the Calguns thread + google some people used this glitch to become billionaires o_O and Rockstar responded with the banhammer. I'll stick with my $3m and hope to fly under the radar....

It seems the playerbase of GTA: Online has turned into the 3 main characters.

The rich exploiters that have all the money and cars, and apartments in the game are Michael. They are rich, but now bored and miserable, there is nothing left for them to do in this town.

The people that refused to glitch the game for cash are Franklin, trying to make it big, legitimately, doing odd jobs here and there for some paper.

The griefers that go around and kill people over and over for no reason other than the lulz, are Trev, because...thats what Trevor would do for fun.

I'm a Franklin too I guess.

In the single player, I got my Franklin up to $50M. More than enough to buy anything you want other than the golf course.
 
I'm a cross between Franklin and Michael. I glitched so I wouldn't have to keep worrying about exiting a mission and getting killed over and over because of the Trevors (costing me more cash than I'd made during the mission, often before I could even enable passive mode or deposit cash - and where's the fun in passive mode? You can't do anything!). But I never wanted/felt the need to become a billionaire and buy EVERYTHING in the game. Just wanted enough to get a chopper, tank, and a couple cars.

edit - the random people putting bounties and shit on me had me doing invite only sessions before I even found out about the glitching.

Meh. If I start over I start over. The Effigy (Skyline) is actually pretty sweet for a free car. Even at level 40 people are still doing the level 15 survival mission for $20k/per, which is what I'll simply go back to doing. I don't NEED the Adder it was just fun to have once in a while - didn't even use it for missions/cruising around it just sat in my garage looking pretty :laughing.
 
I finally bought my first apartment, the Richards Majestic Apt. 51 at $253,000. I was looking on YouTube for the best apartment, and they're all the same (interior-wise), with slightly varying views. :laughing

I gotta drive up to Seattle tomorrow and won't be back until Monday, I'm almost tempted to drag my 360 up there with me. :laughing
 
So apparently now they've nerfed roof camping on Boneyard for Survival. Doesn't really matter to me since I never go up there, but for you nubs that do here's some alternatives.

Wave:
1. Run around shooting everything and picking up weapons
2-4. Roof/top of bus shooting everything
5-10. Either in the barn taking cover behind the crates with shotguns or behind the trailer with assault rifles and SMGs.

One thing I like about the trailer location is there's only one specific location the choppers can shoot you from in later waves, so they stop circling and hover sometimes - makes it easy to take them out with an RPG or minigun. Trailer location is the one against the wall to your right as you spawn in the beginning. You can squeeze between the wall and the trailer and pretty much nobody will touch you. Guys that get stuck spawning in the bus can be taken out with a sniper rifle, everyone else you can use an SMG or Assault Rifle.

edit - not the bus in the pic, that's the one you can stand on/in. The one off the left edge of the drawing is the one where they get stuck.

What the hell? They put a roof there but now they don't want anybody camping on it? Ridiculous.

That roof sucked anyway, it was good maybe until Wave 5, then the choppers show up and you are fucked. Stand up to shoot at the choppers and the guys on the ground have headshots on you.
 
35? Damn I gotta do some grinding.

Are the "ranks" working for you guys? 35 should say Squid or Icy Hot...forgot the order I did.
