BARFTRON HOMEBASE

Yes, one thing I have found is don't always take the route laid out in front of you by the map to get to locations. Check the map for other routes as you'll find ammo, health backpacks, phones etc on back alleys on on side streets.

Great thanks. :thumbup

I will be getting the Division this week, any tips I should know about beforehand?

The main story will have you set up a base of operations after maybe half an hour in. Then you have the choice of what of the three wings of the base you want to open up first. Open the security wing first.

Once the security wing is open you'll get a 10% XP boost for everything you do from then on.

I figure it's better to have that boost as early as you can get it.

Rob, you rolling around with a crew or just picking up random to team up with?

I have some non BARF guys I play with (all of whole are quite good at Call of Duty).

The issue with partying up with your friends is that if people are at wildly different levels, things get interesting. If a level 10 guy is party leader and you're only a level 5? All the bad guys you face are at level 10...which means yeah you get lots more XP when they die, but damn are they hard to kill. All the loot that drops is level 10 stuff that you can use for awhile. And on the flip side, if your level 10 friend joins your game? It's straight EZmode one shot kill everyone for him. Very much like Borderlands with this.

The crafting table is in the base of operations right across the room from the weapons, gear, and mod vendors.

Some of the side missions show a blueprint for whatever as one of the rewards for completing. Once you have the blueprint and the proper crafting materials, you can just make a pretty decent gun or whatever you want. Way cheaper than trying to buy one straight up from the vendors.

Level 13 Rank 14 so far. Loving the hell out of this game. It's been a while since we've had a good co-op.

Spent nearly 3 hours last night with friends in the Dark Zone just extracting loot. Seemed like every time we extracted gear, the wave of enemies would come and drop more loot and we needed to call in another extraction. Only ran into a pack of trolls once that were ambushing people as they extracted. Otherwise most of the agents we run into in the DZ are just trying to get loot out like you. Friendly fire is a hazard though so when playing with other agents you gotta be extra careful not to FF them because getting labeled a rogue sucks.

I just made level 14 today (thanks for the carry today kelso). Debating if I should stay at 14 for a bit and just do a lot of dark zone work for awhile. Once you hit level 15, you're in a different dark zone than levels 1-14 are. Went in the zone as a level 9 earlier today and it was struggle bus time going against some of those bad guys that spawn for some of the other players in the zone. As a 14, nothing in there should be too OP for me. This logic make sense, or should I just say fuck the DZ for awhile and keep leveling up?
