Batman v. Superman?

I like the recent Marvel movies, although the latest one with Captain America, etc. was kind of strange. I liked Ant-Man.

Watched Deadpool last night, was OK. Tried to be a little too clever.

Ben Affleck was Daredevil. Now he's Batman.

Chris Evans was the Human Torch in Fantastic Four. Now he's Captain America.

These heroes really get around. :p

Oh yeah! Wow, is there such a dearth of actors that these guys need to be recycled?

What are the qualifications? Young-ish white guy, big jaw, decent looking....
 
ThAt movie was 2.5 hours of WTF. They clearly don't give a shit of following any of the comic script, etc. doomsday was totally perverted as a story line, etc, etc, etc.

Entertaining, but fully confusing and terrible adherence to any source material. DC's journey into comic movies was well positive until this...now, I skeptical.
 
Lobe how critics panned it but audiences are loving it, and despite terrible reviews it's making aprox 450million worldwide this weekend

Honestly, because of the internet and technology in general, I think the days of the critic, in any field or capacity is numbered. They are slipping into irrelevance, because no matter the depth of their knowledge or their experience in their chosen area of critique, it's still boils down to being just one more persons opinion. And one persons opinion means nothing, on any subject, when the internet allows the entire world an opinion, on any thing. If you hold a certain persons opinion in high regard, then their opinion may sway or influence YOU, but most of the critics that panned BvS, were roundly slammed by the fan base. Mob rules!
 
Not seeing it mostly because I fucking hate ben affleck. I wish he'd stop getting work. Seriously, that guy is afwul.

No not at all they did take certain elements and visuals but it isn't a direct adaptation. There are scenes in the movie that you could match up to panels in the graphic novel. I had to tip my hat to Snyder on that one because DKR is IMO the best Graphic Novel ever lol.

I enjoyed it! Its the opposite of Deadpool in regards to tone. I can't wait for Civil War now! :)

Its a great time to be a comic nerd :nerd

Affleck is clearly really talented. I get not liking him, but even his directing has been excellent for only having done a couple films. Gone baby gone is some of the best first time directing I've seen. He was good in gone girl also last year.
 
Gone girl was awful. His performance was absolutely wooden, as always. The movie felt an hour longer than it actually was, and I had it figured out in the first 30 minutes. I do not understand why people like this guy as an actor. He's not believable in any way.

I'm not a fan of his, but according to critics, Affleck is not the worst thing about this movie.

Word. I mean his 3rd movie won best picture. Also, for all the complaining, ben affleck has the perfect look to play batman.

Very far from DKR, IMO. The best of DKR is the time period it takes place in and that Supes/ Batman have known each other for a lifetime. This picture was just....weird in how they played it out.

Totally a great time to be a comic nerd. The nerds will inherit the theaters!
