Big, Bad Treehouse

Andy, could you be any more of a beast? Seriously! May I suggest a fire pole to slide down? My brother and I added one to the tree house we built as kids and it was a blast. Ours was only 20 feet from the ground, though. When Roberta leaves me, and I get fired from work, I am going to drive up and live in your tree house. :thumbup
 
I'll try to find the pics from my tree house as a kid.

It was built around the tree but had stilts on each corner, rope ladder and a deck on the top. Sliding wooden windows too.

Sadly the treeblew down in a storm and took the treehouse with it.

We used to have water gun fights in it.
 
I smell an ewok village going up! I have some building plans for you. Please make a nice spot for me on the left in the "unmarried females" area.

That's awesome!

My brothers built a treehouse when I was a kid, about 20ft up a mango tree, basically just a platform made with 2x4s and plywood. Sides were secured with posts and rope like a miniature boxing ring. I have a lot of good memories from that treehouse.

Well, I'm sure there's some leftie that wants to outlaw treehouses because they disturb the birds-n-stuff. Tz should have filed an Environmental Impact Form before proceeding. And how do think that tree feels having all that structure pinching it's flesh? It's probably screaming in psychic pain right down to its roots.

Mean people suck.
