Bumping other bikes at stoplights?

If mine bumps me it means "lets turn around and go fuck" If I bump mine it means "let's turn around go home and fuck"
If a stranger bumps me, the panties get damp and then I get PISSED OFF, because the bump has no meaning and I receive NO physical pleasure.

Isn't the lesson here, 'don't be a stranger?' :leghump

only bump friends...bump the wrong person and yeah...bad idea

I love bumping and being bumped...likely a relic from my days of chasing and being chased by my uncle, ramming each other with my grandmother's old school 3 speed bikes. No helmets, only on pavement. Lots of crashing, and laughing.

Good old days...

But someone I don't know? Too likely to cry and make me feel guilty, so I'll pass. If you want to say "Hi" to me, a little bump is always appreciated, preferably while at a stop, but whatever... :teeth

it's not concealed carry if I have one of those swivel HD cupholders on my handlebars :p

And it's not concealed carry if I have my rifle slung over my shoulder :)

I am glad you're in the 408. If and when in the city, if you are behind a rider with a faded blue Chrome bag with a Werkstatt patch, don't bump me. I will take the DucatiHoney method of teaching a little respect.

I wanna see you ride through SJ with a rifle on your back. You'll have SJPD bumping you at intersections asking to see it :p

i think if OP was riding a desmo there would not have been any problems

since when did it become expected to move to the front and swerve over to make room for someone else splitting to the front, at a light? :confused as I see it, if you stop between two cars at the light, cause someone is in front of you...well, tough. that's the way it is. if they can make room, cool...if not, then it's not their issue.

bump the wrong tire, and you might be in for a pleasant surprise. ;)

I don't know which to be more amused by. This thread or your avatar!!

So I hope yall kno to get over at when you go up to the front at a stoplight. If im nice enought to let you pass me then dont block me out at a light just move to the right or left after you get to the front. Dont be mad i kept on ramming your back tire... I was just saying move over polite as possible. lol. :twofinger Ill see you again buddy i werk right by where you do :ride

I guess I don't speak your language.

If you were so concerned about being up front, why did you 'let' the other rider pass?

wow. lotsa keyboard tuffies on here.
tell ya what, anyone can bump my tire, all freakin day long.
big fuckin deal.
slam into me, and it's another story, but i can't really see someone slamming into a bike with anything less than malice afore thought.
really, someone tapping into my tire, to ask me to move, or just screwing around?
lighten up.

The DMV test had nothing that said you couldn't push people off their bikes.

And it also doesn’t say you can't slap mirrors, do wheelies, or pee on the side of the road. So what's your point?:confused

when i took my test i specifically asked if i could do wheelies

was a big N-O.

I heard that if you can do all three at the same time, it is legal.

Yeah, I was in my car once at the front of the line at a red light on Lawrence Expressway and some dipstick on a bike cutting the lanes pulls up (six feet into the crosswalk) just ahead of me on my right. he has some babe on the back and he is busy looking back promoting some from her when the light turns green. I didn't feel like waiting to find out what she was going to say so I took off and left him sitting there. About ten seconds later this dipstick pulls along side me (at 60 mph) waving and screaming red faced.... then he swerves in front of me and hits the brakes, all the usual road rage maneuvers.

Just another ambassador for goodwill towards motorcyclists.

I'll say this: if you are going to cut a line of cars off to get to the front of the line, you better not be picking your ass when the light turns green or somebody will put a bumper up your ass.
