Burrito Inflation

I try to avoid anything cooked in vegetable (seed) oils. That shit just ain’t doing you any good.

Back in the day I would occasionally order an Egg McMuffin but had to make sure to ask for no margarine else it was horrific.
Probably been five or six years since I’ve had one.

Lard or nothing :x

Like I said, I don't fuck with fast food much these days as my age, but it is delicious nevertheless. Really it is about the breakfast burritos when I am rolling. That is perfect car food. All self contained, no drips, crumbs or mess.

Lard or nothing :x

:love

I mean, it is pretty easy. You say, "can you even imagine?"

I say, "Bro, it is already out there."

You say, "true dat, Dawg, good point, but shit be cray cray."

I say, "Real talk." and it is over.

I am not sure why you are both looking for conflict and complaining about it at the same time? :dunno

Really don't know how to make this any easier to you. I said if the price of candy and ice cream from an ice cream truck shot way up, it would be a shock, like the increase in the price of burritos. Theater, concert venues, sports arenas, etc, are always going to be overpriced. There is no relevance in the conversation but you brought it up.

Ice cream trucks and movie theater food/drink prices are two very different things. The point of everything I said is relating to the price of burritos, which depends on where you go, prices have noticeably shot up. "It is already out there" is disregarding the entire point. Movies, burritos, and ice cream trucks are not comparable.

You're a very intelligent dude. I'm not sure why you chose to go hard in the paint on this and choosing not to understand my intention.

If the above is not enough, then it is what is. You're coming off as a need to be right more than a need to understand. And I know that's not how you roll, so I'm perplexed.

Because I do not believe in intentions, I believe in what you wrote. I made a simple like 4 word comment about your, "can you imagine," bit. Your response could have been simple as outlined in my example above, yet still you draw more about your, "intentions." As outlined above, could have been resolved easily and amicably many comments ago.

The reason is honestly quite clear, it is because you are not interested in the open dialogue, your are seeking outside validation for your complaint.

I'm not someone who believes in such things, so I won't be providing that. The ongoing conversation about food is still fun though. :dunno

Not even sure what you guys are arguing about to be honest.

Remember 99cent Value Menus?

Long gone.

:laughing Me either was my point.

Are dollar menus gone? I feel like some things are still Dollar Value?

I think McD's just removed soft drinks from their $1 section.

This site seems to come up when I google.

Maybe fast food regulars can confirm but those menus were always controversial for franchisees who's profit margins are slimmer than company operated units.

I just ate 1/2 dozen Wednesday Special Pastor tacos @ $1.35/each. With a drink, lunch came to $10.xx today. Hard to find deals like that anymore.

I explained my point pretty clearly and I don't need validation from anyone for what I said. You're just being obtuse about it.

Whatever, dude.

I mean, I made a simply crack at one line of yours. You went on, I responded about the price thing and you said you didn't want to talk about the price thing. I fail to see how that is obtuse. I don't know what else you could possibly want here.

:dunno

Can you still get 20 chicken nuggets for $5? That always seemed like a good deal to me.

Love these, could resist no more

Just last night I squished up a peach and mixed it with that la croix peach/plum bubble water and some costco scotch whiskey over ice...turned out pretty tasty. and the peach was filling, total hispter hobo dinner.

8 pages, burros to burgers,

Not one mention of my burro palace.

October is coming, I'll be back, , ,
in Vacaville.

I'll take a #18 Chile Verde, hot, Favella's (upgrade), hold the gringo sauce (sour cream), on tomato.
