Buy Gpro now!

Here's an interesting one and here's what triggered the sell off yesterday. Some delicious irony; this company is known for being super assholes and gobbling up smaller competitive companies and either destroying them, or just operating them in such a way that nobody wants to use them. Now, their buyout price is less than their assets and they're being eyeballed for acquisition and dissection.

Already passed the low yesterday.

I bought a little last night, because the after hours was holding up, but I dumped it today after it started going off the cliff again, lol.

If you can stomach the up and down this is a HOLD imo.

I know Apple and Samsung pushed back on pricing which cut margin

still sitting on my trigger but dang this is cheap

The company looks solid and is hitting above expected numbers. I believe this could be a very profitable move. Well ok, they did miss their investor expectations.

I used to work for Fugro, out of an office in Aberdeen Scotland and Holland. They were huge, probably still are. I just didn't care for the sporadic schedule so I took some time off and went to the Puerto Rico to visit friends and relax and never went back.

I noticed you changed your avatar .. probably with that pretty girlfriend from PR? :confused :laughing

As for INVN--isn't there a danger that they *don't* have a contract with Apple any more and that's why, deservedly, the price is falling?

No, she's never been to PR. The problem with Puerto Rican women is that they LOVE Puerto Rico and I didn't, they don't want to hear you say anything negative about the island. High crime then, now even worse.

Were you working in subsea? OMR kind of stuff? Yeah, they're huge all right, like a glacier and they move about as fast. Anyway, their stock moves much faster and presents some good opportunities if you're familiar with this field.

Yeah subsea and onshore, I actually worked for one of the businesses they bought up, surveying & inspecting seafloor pipelines for Amerada Hess, Occidental and the like.

I never followed their stock but looks like its been having a bumpy ride.

Right on, subsea is a great field to be in. A little cyclical, but still good. Survey, usually boring, but that's a good thing! Did you operate Perry equipment?

teardown shows an invn chip in the 6 and 6+ and Apple isn't where INVN makes all their money - it's small fish. For some reason everyone still thinks the iPhone holds majority market share ;)

There are really only 2 tier 1 OEM suppliers in this space - INVN and STM

I'm buying because of wearables really beginning to enter the market

No, what we did was collect data from the rov and sent to the owner in whatever format they ask.
Usually stuff like survey a proposed new pipeline route for possible hazards to the pipe. If route is accepted resurvey after trenching, support pipe laying operation, resurvey entire route after all pipe is placed and before allowing oil to flow, then annual inspections.
Basically everything on the seabed gets surveyed and inspected, well heads, injection manifolds, umbilical cords... There's a lot of shit down there.

Ahhh yes, a survey shack dude..."your rov is broken!", "no, your survey shit doesn't work", "no, u!" (fisticuffs ensues). Anyway, short sell Fugro for now. :)

guides on its Q3 CC for Q4 revenue of $550M-$580M and EPS of $0.65-$0.69, soundly above a consensus of $499.9M and $0.53.

So not going to provide any insight regarding your knowledge of this inhospitable world you seem familiar with?
