When I was in high school, one of the coolest cars I've ever seen was a 1979 Camaro Z28. Seen a few in my lifetime, and still think their cool.

Never been a fan of the Mustang.

Another car I wish I could buy would be that Trans Am in the movie thunderbolt and lightfoot, I think it was a 1970, or a 1971, but it was white with the blue racing stripe down the middle with that hood scoop (455 H.O.)

The Mustang will get freshened up again in 2012, so along with the new 5.0 engine, the Camaro has some serious catching up to do. The Camaro however is outselling the Mustang right now, but just.

You'd be wrong. No refresh.

This is a 2012 GT500. No exterior changes. No interior changes (except for worthless $1700 Recaro seat option).

2012 Camaro gets no exterior changes but a slightly freshened interior. Just subtle changes to the dashboard and new steering wheel. Oh and this little addition to the model lineup in the form of a 556hp ZL1.

Camaro was outselling Mustang with just a coupe. Now that the convertible Camaro is on sale, Mustang sales will trail behind even more.

Expect an all new Mustang in 2013-14.

The new mustangs are beautiful cars inside and out but the Challenger SRT8 is right up there with them. I still miss my Vette convertible though. :(

Both bring shame to their names. Unless you get the ones for $55k. Then the buyer brings shame cuz there are way better quality balls to buy.

Really now? These are the very best versions of the Mustang and Camaro ever. But hey you must be an expert because you drive a shitbox Volvo which is the latest in your history of underpowered underwhelming shitboxes, so you're obviously an authority on American muscle.

You can get 300+ hp V6 models that return 30 mpg. That cost less than $30k. Or you can get V8s starting at $30k that have over 400hp, get 25mpg, and can easily run 13 second quarters. What else out there gives you that for that kind of money?

Psssst, a new Boss 302 can flat out embarrass a $70k BMW M3(which seems to be the status quo on what a great performance coupe is) on a track.

I know a lot of people, including my brother, with Mustangs and none of them have reliability issues.

I have never seen a mustang do this:

Chevy FTW
my new 2011 Ford work van issued to me is already leaking - at the differential I think.

chevy drivers are morons, in fact calling a person a chevy driver is hate speech.
