Do You Mountain Bike?

China camp was super fun. Even the backside. :teeth Now for some road biking tonight.

The backside is a hoot - I try not to ride it too often though. I figure it's just a matter of time til I hurt myself on one of the descents.

Did you do it with anyone else?

a coworker of mine and I went. there was some areas where there were some gnarly decents. fun. but we mostly stuck to one of the loops that had some fast, pretty stable areas. Probably didn't do the real backside. No idea. first time there, but was a blast.

East Bay Shops?

So I'll be in the Berkeley/Emeryville area tomorrow - just bike-shop hopping - and would like to know if there are any interesting/worth bike shops we can visit. Hopefully, it's one that stocks a lot of interesting, high-level bikes/components.

We plan on hitting Perfomance and REI, but any input on local shops would be cool. Thanks!

Hmm...maybe....Mike's Bikes in Berkeley? I don't really know of any high end bike shops around in general. I know San Rafael has a few. Maybe check out WrenchScience. They have a lot of frames and what not, and I think they have a bunch of components in the back. They carry, Ellsworth, Turner, Intense and others. So you maybe give them a try

We hit Wrenchsience and Mike's. WS was cool because they stocked so many high-end frames & parts. I liked the feel of the place - laid back...

Thai food at lunch was great. :)

Doing the usual Monday group ride with Jeremy, Mel, Sonny and Sophia.

Were my #'s close??

The main chamber and boost pressure were really close.

My PP and rebound were much lower (faster).

I needed more BO too since I was bottoming out on the smaller jumps.

I think we're trying to shoot for 1030am....more than likely a little closer to 11am.

Compared to that stuff, the slurpees and Cheetos we had the other day weren't so bad:laughing:twofinger
