At the moment I have time and plan on keeping time for the whole month. I just fininshed the remodel and am going to take some time for myself. The back is getting better as usuall.We should plan our next group ride

Rapid rise is in the derailleur, not the shifter. Any shifter will work. Also, just set the stop on the derailleur not to go down to the smallest gear and Viola,... (sp?) now you have an 8 speed. I thinkSonny do you have a spare rapid rise rear shifter for 8 speed laying around? (Yeah I know not likely) Or anyone else for that matter? I'm going to set up my 29er as an 8 speed for a while as I've got a brand new XTR derailleur and cassette. Just need the shifter.
Greg is the shiznizzle when it comes to building and/or fixing wheels that probably otherwise couldn't be fixed.
