Do you wear a watch?

I'm sure the mechanics of it are amazing to look at in person. But I'm not really a big fan of Richard Mille watches.

Ugly as hell and way too flash. hard to tell the time.

I also don't like most skeletonized watches

I'll agree with the "hard to tell time" part, but I do like the skeletonized watches... some of them anyway, this one, I think would be better if it had red hands or something that isn't the same color as the mechanism behind it to help it stand out and be able to tell the time.

Dang isn’t that like $750k?

maybe you have one zero too much. Anyway $65k or $75k (what I've heard) for a titanium one is quite much already. Not sure what's the case material in the picture. In fact I probably like an RM with a simpler matte metal instead of the picture

It's good to know when things need servicing (or not), but .. owning thousands of watches doesn't mean that you've owned some of them for like the 5-10 years when they'd need service...?

I usually don’t own watches very long, especially Rolex because they’re easy to sell.

Can you find 1970s or 80s Speedmasters?

No. Vintage sport watches are extremely in demand right now and that demand is driving new retail prices up.

If I had 100 of those speedmasters I could sell them all at a big premium, the more used the better.

Lost some weight and the paracord band I made for my Invicta won't fit anymore. Took it to a place to replace the band but the bolts are frozen in place, he couldn't get it out.

Bought this new G-Shock because I feel naked without a watch. I always liked G-Shocks.

Your watch matches your truck now

That is awesome! One of my childhood friends actually had that watch. I was so jealous! He was such a prick too and wouldn't let me play it.

I'm actually still playing Zelda (Breath Of The Wild on the Switch) to this day. :laughing

So you’ll give me $2500 for my PO? :laughing

Ha! Yeah it’s one of my favorite purchases every. I wear it every day! It was my “incentive” gift to sell shit at a new job. 4 years later..Band clasp is worn as shit now man. I got that omega planet ocean (Black) for $2200...

I might make another change. So it will require another piece. Thinking less everyday wear and more “every now and then baller AF”. But I’m still broke since I like investing. Watches are a rich mans game, like you and Beau.

With that, where’s the inventory???

Does anyone have experience with sending a Citizen watch for (repair) service?

I have a seemingly top model Citizen Eco-schmecko / Radio /World TZ / Alarm and the battery ran out. That's right, the rechargable battery went through so many cycles that it cannot charge anymore (nor receive the radio)

needs: battery
maybe new crown stem b/c the alarm was getting hard to set. Possibly unfixable if the stem is not the problem, but any contacts activated by it.

Wondering whether sending to LA is the only choice as it officially says, and how to do it.
Or whether it's worth it probably the many tens or hundred of bucks for service and/or repair.
