Those are sick!

No really, they're sick. Time to put them out of their misery. :teeth

I don't know Brah, at about 2000%+ increase in value, based on initial cost of say $1.00 and current market sales, that ain't bad! :party
Plus, the "Chuckie" watches seem to be a little bit on the rare side.

You got a watch that's appreciated that much? :x :rofl

Seiko Alpinist on a Miltat super oyster from Strapcode.

6R15 movement! This thing is a steal for the price!

Functional compass chapter ring, it really works. :)

it looks good on this picture, and it probably *was* a great deal,

but I don't know if you know---it increased in price by 33% if not more, depending on the speculator, b/c Seiko announced it's discontinuing them two-three months ago. (Along with other 2-3 favorites with the same movm't such as the ...B033.. and maybe some Cocktail Times such as the one gnac bought)

so, for e.g. me I'd feel a little burned by this.. oh well!

p.s. I'm not sure how you managed to have zero scratches on the sides.

I do, it's required for work. I like and wear Tissot watches. They're the least expensive Swiss watch with a sapphire crystal face, which are my only three criteria. I get lots of compliments on mine.

Still wearing the same watch every day, for I think the last 8 or so years. I'd like a nice chrono, but this one still works.

Sure.

When it was $350 it was an INSANE deal, now @ $500 it's just a great deal.

The 6r15 in THIS model has diashock, unlike the 33 and the cocktails.

Sapphire crystal too.

So, this movement is found in Prospex and for me, it is equally accurate as my Yacht-Master, which I set at daylight savings/standard time only and it's within 1 minute. No exaggeration. As to the scratches, or lack thereof, give it time. I fix appliances, elbows deep into sheet metal every day. They can't be far behind. :)

Yeah, screaming deal.

What say you about the Hamilton Scuba auto? I don't count it as a real dive watch since it's only 100m, but I don't dive lol. I was planning on getting the Sinn 556 I B, but this Hamilton is really nice. First dive watch that I really like. I don't like most because they're too big (>40mm) or look too much like a submariner knock off.

the Sinn....

Love love love both.

Love the Sinn more.

Are the sizes the same ? 40 mm ? If one is bigger eliminate the bigger one :)

I would not call the Sinn a diver watch it definitely looks dressy / officy. You could choose by that, if you want a casual / workout / tourist watch definitely-->the Hamilton. Looks more down lo to me.

Oh ps I forgot I already own a simple blue dial watch maybe I'm biased :rofl

:laughing
Yeah the Sinn is not a dive watch at all, but it is water resistant to 200mm. It's also $1500 and much higher quality than the Hamilton. Still the Hamilton looks really nice.
The Mrs says the Hamilton makes me look cool, young and hip. The Sinn makes me an old dude :laughing.

Both are around 40mm

C , are you aware of the word hipster ;) ?
On picture the Hamilton definitely looks more hipster. ..

The other one might be more quality or class..but life is life.

Or you could get a Casio F91W or the Casio WorldTime 5 alarms AE1200 for like $14 and still be happy ;)

PS I think what's important is also what kinda person you are and what color or clothes you wear . Especially with a full blue dial.
Long time ago when I had only two watches and the blue dial one was one of them, my SO said "this one is too restrictive" meaning it doesn't go well with all clothing. ( I haven't heard stylistic remarks much in this thread )
