Do you wear a watch?

Once I make it, ill get myself a fancy smancy watch to wear on trips and not have to worry bout charging like you said

Just get a "mall" watch. Entry fee is much less.

OK. So here's what I had like 10 years ago. Unfortunately, it died snorkeling in Maui due to an incompetent watch battery replacer guy who tore the caseback seal. I'd have gone after him, but the business went under already.

I got a shitload of compliments on that watch. Looked great, had a good amount of heft to it, and since it was quartz it was more accurate than my "master chronometer" certified new Omega. Unless it's a watch nerd, they're not gonna know whether it's a $600 watch or a $6000 watch.

Compare that to the Omega I posted a few pages ago? Just looks like a fancy steel watch. Hell, the Omega is a bigger pain in the ass because you have to keep it wound

My Victorinox watch goes on 8 years , my Citizen tita-sola-radio watch broke at 5 years and I sent for a repair: complete movement replacement. Japan <3 :thumbdown

Since you guys are posting Swiss military watches. This Swiss made watch was given to me by my old man. He passed away last year so this watch has more meaning to me now.

Word.

This is my first 43.5mm PO, it wears on my wrist so much better than the 45.5mm.

Yeah I couldn’t imagine anything bigger now. Just looks right. My all black Luminox is like a 45mm and it looks huge now.

My PO is my primary...scratches, dents, etc. I LOVE it.

So nerve wracking, though removing Omega links is even worse. Two teeny tiny screws and a pin. It's some of the worst engineering I've ever encountered.

I like the screws. Yeah they’re super small, so if you’ve got sausage fingers, this is no beuno. But the pins can be pushed out with a paper clip (most of the time).

Was so happy I didn’t have to go to a watch guy to resize my PO.

I'm trying to figure out how to get to the pins on my Pre-Moon for a leather band. Can't see to find out the trick...
