Ducati Electrical cluster

Awesome.
Glad it is fixed.

Thanks John.
Passing on MA to put it back together and give it a test.

Hope it rocks to life!!

John,

Found my pin kit...but apparently it's too late. I need to get on BARF more often. :laughing

In case you were unable to fix the pin, would it be possible (although maybe unsafe if you forget) to just short the switch?

Not sure. Not sure if I would have gone there either.

Fixed before Hawthorn -Awesome!

Alllllllmost there.

She is a runner. Had issues getting the starter/kill switch tight. I must be missing something. :dunno

And the little black plastic fucks on the front fairing refused to go on right. :rant.
Back to the YouTube.

Battery was dead tried pushing (Danny and Ed pushes) , jumped it, rode it around the block.

Pic of my Buddy (L8Braker/ Danny) and my wife working it.
His son GT came along. Felt bad for him sort of. He got to ride Carnegie the day before so not super bad. :teeth

Surprise!! Sweepingwinger showed up on his new bike.

More you tube searches for top secret Ducati tricks tonight.

The BIGGEST surprise from all of this? That L8Braker has a WIFE!?!

Alllllllmost there.

She is a runner. Had issues getting the starter/kill switch tight. I must be missing something. :dunno

Same issue here, that thing is dumb design 101. I asked at my DVT service if they could address it and the response was "most are like that." Thanks Ducati!

Glad you're getting it sorted. Nobody should lose their ride for that long because of a little pin. Maybe you get a new phrase out of it though: this thing is a real pin in the butt!

I found out I had NOT inserted a small grommet thingy.

The MotorCafe fixed that and installed the last two pieces of plastic that I was arguing with today. New battery too as after being on the trickle charger it was still dead this AM.

New kill switch $ 189
Shop diagnosis $82
Drinks for Mercedes mechanic $20
Breakfast for L8Braker assembly dude $60
Cost to return the used wiring harness $100
Cost for the Bud can get it right $120
Total $471

Way better than well over $4k.

Missed some rides but is what it is = fixed!

Bad Kobaz in October Butch!! :ride

....and now the Vett can rest....:thumbup
