Frank Sommerville

Frank may be planning to meet with the KTYU brass to have a well orchestrated goodbye (by Fox) or purely legal parting of the ways. Or neither and could be just a rumor on the streets, but Rich is guessing it's real. :party

People still smoke? Weird.

You missed the point. People wait in line for 1 Pepsi. For a long time. Conclusion: Shit's THAT good.

I can totally relate to this. One time I asked my Mom for a Pepsi, just ONE Pepsi, and she wouldn't give it to me.

I'm at the store and I want an RC cola and the cashier has to call a manager, wait, have the manager show, then walk the distance to what looks like a vault, pull an RC cola, bring it back, only to find they gotta do it again because they brought A Pepsi, and all the person behind me is trying to buy is a pack of Marlboros....

And none of that deters the RC Cola drinker.

Isn't it sad that our racist society disapproves and shuns time-honored native American traditions? There probably should be a ceremonial safe-space in every public building for people to peacefully honor our forefathers...

I have long been suggesting that in order to show more inclusion and support for native cultures that we institute Human Sacrifice Tuesdays as a way to carve out the hearts of some captured rival companies and to honor Huitzilopochtli, but HR usually just throws a stapler at me and tells me to leave.

:(

That makes sense. I don't really belive in waiting for other people. Like, if I try to go to the counter and see more than 2 people in line, I will just go shop more or leave. I am not waiting around on some other motherfuckers.

I am really sad that you are exposed to such macro AND microaggressions at your attempts to foster inclusivity and diversity to your workplace. We still have.....a lot of work to do.

But that's just it, it is only one person, and you just don't know if they're gonna send the cashier to Tobacco Road and leave you in a lurch while they involve the store staff in the retrieval of one pack of smokes.... :dunno

It used to be so much simpler for me as a non smoker when cigs were $1.75 out of a machine.:dunno

am assuming if you invoke the name of Huitzilopochtli (with honor), you are an avid feeder of hummingbirds.

Excuse me, I was looking for the Frank Sommerville thread. I'll just grab a Pepsi. Cary on.

It's way better than that canned piss they call RC Cola.... :x

I read 355 hillbillies a year go blind from that stuff. :wow

I do have a hummigbird feeder in my backyard, but I would not describe myself as avid.

I do not follow Da 'Poch, that one is not of my people, but I acknowledge the old ways from people not my own.

If you don't, you hella gonna get a curse on you.

Well, in the words of of an old Viking Jarl referring to the Finns, "the are all black witches in their black dark woods," so, yes, my Viking adjacent people in the old country watch for the spirits of things not ours.

So while everyone else is getting sexed and turned into cows, and having plagues and locusts and shit, we can just leave out some offerings and be chill.

:laughing
