Game of Thrones Season 8

probably will be much more drawn out in the books.

this is a tv show though. how many episodes of siege were y'all willing to take? I think 3/4 of one episode was enough for me.

Don’t care too much about siege and battle footage, but some interaction or insight on the thousands-of-years rivalry between the Three-Eyed Raven and the Night King as it reaches it climax would have been nice.

Just had a thought.

Gilly’s real baby is still somewhere. As far as we know the night king never got to him so he wouldn’t have just turned into a pile of shave ice. But he has all the makings of a white walker as Craster’s 99th son. Maybe he’ll go on the to restart the drama all over again. As a product of incest by wildlings I can see him growing up with a lot to be bitter about the rest of society.

Now that you mention it, I would have liked that too. I didn't really think interaction with the night king was on the table though. maybe some grabbing of arms and flashback scenes would have helped?

Like many a good Stephen King books, such a great job was done building up the enemy that when it comes time to confront and overcome, it always feels rushed and never done justice.

Maybe I'm only enjoying it because I want so badly for it to be good. Maybe it's because I've been emotionally invested for like 10 years. I was worried that this final, shortened season would be a shit show because the story was no longer bound by GRRM's writing and there was too much left to cover to get it done in 6 episodes. We shall see. So far this season has been very TV-ish and e03 was spectacular and bad. I'm trying to overlook how bad it was but with reviews like this popping up everywhere, I'm kind of worried about the next three episodes.

are you...are you saying that a story about dragons and magic and zombies...that the episode contained inconsistencies? The battle strategies were unrealistic? say it ain't so! lol

IMO a serious case of wanting to hate something and finding reasons to backfill the thought.

I suspect that guy doesn't like much of anything. probably has 10k videos of him complaining about something on youtube.
