Game of Thrones Season 8

Im sorry guys, but I was sorely disappointed with how it all played out given the build up leading up to this event.

-No explanation to who the Night King was or what his goals were.
-Wtf was Bran doing this whole time when he was a warg?
-Arya sneaks by all that undead and manages to leap out of the middle of nowhere and takes out the Night King with a cheap shot.
-Daenerys is planning to attack Cersei with what army? She practically wiped out all of the dothraki and unsullied.

yeah freall a bummer not figuring who the nightking is/was and Bran's deal.

Lol not being able to see much of what was going on helped convey a sense of the frenzied chaos that was ensuing... IMO.

They covered the Night King and Three Eyed Raven origins in previous seasons.

She's been in training for years leading up to that. Even used the dagger she was given by her brother. After the "not today" I thought she would be the one to kill him, but I thought she would do it with a different face. She's been my favorite for years.

But what was John doing??? His big plan was to stand in front of the dragon and get killed by blue fire? Good game plan :rolleyes

Only a few dozen people left? One dragon left? Are there two left? None? Did the one die after it landed? Lot of unknowns.

Welp I guess that’s that.

I’m gonna guess maybe we’ll see Dany muster her remaining eastern forces and we’ll see Dario again?

Count me in the can’t see shit crowd.

My biggest question is did Ghost survive? And how did Arya fly like 40 yards to get to the night king?

I really thought Sansa was going to have Tyrion kill her when they were huddled up together. At least lady Mormont went out like a boss. And selfish of Mel to just go die before bringing some people back. At least I hope Sam gets his sword back.

Also Jon spent a good amount of time sitting on the ramparts watching them try to light the trench. Maybe Dany didn’t teach him the magic word on purpose.

Also I’m still pissed Bran never looked up the recipe for wildfire. I’m bet it would have helped.

At least we can assume the night king was a Targaryen. Able to ride a dragon, untouched by fire. Maybe he’s both like Jon.

I totally thought Tyrion and Sansa were gonna double suicide

Me too at first then I thought Tyrion’s will has always been to survive even if out of pure spite whereas Sansa maybe had seen and been through enough.

Also, the Dothraki genocide :shocker

Who the fuck sends the cavalry in first? :wtf

Why send an attack at all when you can't even see what you're attacking?

And why the fuck weren't the dragons blowing more fire on the dead army when they were using themselves as bridges over the burning trench?

Ya Jon spent enough time sitting on the rampart holding his dick when he could have lit the trenches up. I’m guessing maybe Dany didn’t teach him the magic word on purpose :dunno

Also disappointing NK didn’t just send the cavalry right back at them

Thought it was funny the red lady came back to give the Dothraki fire swords,

as if it made any fucking difference. :laughing

Old D&D nerd in me was all "casting time, roll that shit" when she was trying to set the trench on fire.

so many flaws in that episode. everyone saying it was the best episode ever. not really when you think about it. it felt like they couldnt afford the cgi they needed.

Jon was going to test his Targareyn dragon fire resistance against the blue flame. Dany already tested him so she has to concede he's the real deal.

OK so now I guess it's just these guys v. queen bitch and however the iron islands chick figures into it.

It made for the best scene of the season so far. The people at the walls watch a bunch of lights in the distance, slowly dwindling to blackness, like their chances of surviving.

OK just one meme!
