Get a motard.

Strange timing on the bump, got my 690 just shy of 3 years ago. Not a great all purpose bike but hard to beat on Ham or other goat trails and gets 50 MPG as a bonus. If only the tyres would last as long the oil and filter change interval, hell I'd settle for half as long.

I'm really hoping the oil change interval is not 1,500 miles like most bikes :|

The 690's trade a little power and some heft for 3,000 miles between oil and filter and 6,000 for the valves. I feel guilty about the long interval so chenge the O&F at the first convenient time after 2,000. My last rear BT016 lasted a 1,000 miles, strangely the BT003's are lasting longer for some reason.

Motards come in (or can be put together in, just note where Motards came from to start with, before the factories jumped on the bandwagon) In any size that fits your needs. :thumbup
