3 years on the buffalo pro's from helimot.

They also have a shortie summer glove now, but I think the back/top of hand is a kevlar based material. I like the padding they use.

You didn't happen to read the last few pages did you? Pretty much the person responsible for the summer gloves being made posted here.

UPDATE:
So, I tried on a bunch of gloves, and even bought and returned a pair. I ended up buying a pair of rev-it shorty gloves I really liked. I was actually leaning towards a pair of racer gloves but they didn't have my size. Below is what I ended up with for now.

I think I may be purchasing a pair of the helimot gloves soon (check the classifieds if you are interested in a pair of shorty rev-its ). Now my next quest is a lightweight waterproof glove (not bulky and wintery) for next winter/traveling. There are a couple I have my on.
