Got a Ticket for FasTrak "Toll Evasion" on GG Bridge

Not a fix it ticket. The truck has a rear license plate and front. But since the bike was on the bed, the rear of trunk door was flipped down. Hence they didnt get a proper picture.

So the picture shows a riderless bike going through the toll plaza? :wtf

You gots some mad stuntin' skills, mang. :thumbup

Picture shows only the bike plate. Which is what I thought was odd! She didnt have a picture of the whole car. Going to call in on Monday again

So did the truck blow through without paying the toll? I'm trying to figure out why the camera snapped the picture. In which case, someone owes the toll for driving across the bridge.

I went through fast track the other day. I have no plates. I have no fastrack. It was a 0 dollar ticket.

the truck had fast track (as per Hattar). They're going to take care of it when they reopen on tuesday.

Kinda weird of fastrak!

Sounds like the fastrak didn't register. They will have to kick you the $6, though you are paying for it in the tow anywho. :laughing

Update. It's been a month since the original notice of my "violation, and over three weeks since I sent in my letter to the Bridge Authority. Haven't heard anything yet, so I went online to make an inquiry about the status. It shows a total amount due of $0.00. So I guess I got my point across to them.

Best news I've had all year, so far at least...

Good on you for following through! :thumbup

Happy New Year!!!

And while they cleared yours, the ticket I talked about earlier has been sent to collections, and that's AFTER they sent me a refund.

Did everyone at Fastrak ride the short bus to work?

On the GG with unmanned Fastrak lanes, can't un-plated bikes always be free? Is that a loophole for scofflaws?

there have been a shitload of car drivers who just use the fastrack lanes with no fastrack and NEVER pay. it was in the news the other day. i havn't followed up on the story, but the long and short of it was yes-- they will screw with your credit... but for a lot of people credit is that last thing they are worried about. for them, its a free bridge.

If you drive thru FT lanes without FT tag then the camera will capture your license plate and send you ticket in the mail. If you don't pay, then they will put a hold on your registration or send you to collection.

Right, we know that part. Now we're wondering what would happen if someone went through without an FT tag AND without a plate for the cameras to be able to photograph. If you can't ID the vehicle, how do they know where to send the ticket?

is there a pull out before the bridge for the people to take their plates off?

what about people that just bought the car and have only that red tag with a month's number?

The toll booths are only for southbound traffic, right? Forgive me, it's been a little while since I've been up to San Fran and gone across the GG. If so, then yes, there is that last exit north of the bridge where one could conceivably pull over to remove their plates. Or, for that matter, someone could rig up a device to cover the plates when they want to go "incognito".

I know a guy who does that. He has dealer plates on. I think he bought his truck two years ago. The fee he gets from police for keeping the dealer plates on is MUCH less than what he would pay if he paid the bridge toll every time.

UH oh.. it's on now.. Who's the better 'mathleate'? :nerd :laughing

:laughing

Yeah, it's only a very tiny dick in your ass. So small, you'll barely even feel it. That tiny, tiny, uninvited dick. In your ass. :teeth

:wtf :wow :rofl :rofl :rofl That is one of the funniest things I've read in months... :thumbup

Pie?
