Got a Ticket for FasTrak "Toll Evasion" on GG Bridge

This is the Golden Gate Bridge we are talking about. They don't have a carpool lane or a bus lane. they have manned booths and unmanned FasTrak lanes. I went through a manned booth. They have a CARPOOL sign that alights when you get to go through if you are eligible. The sign alit, I was legit.

So they must aquit?

SlideSF, do yourself a favor and trailer the bike. Get it registered and then ride free without the worry of da Po-Po.

just think about how many people DO NOT fight it & just pay the fine. I'd bet per month it adds up to thousands of dollars. Pays for upper management's trip to Tahiti on a private jet while everyone else is working.

I'd fight it, every time. It's principle, & $6.

Was reading this earlier today, and what do I get in the mail? A toll evasion ticket, when I was not even riding the bike. This happened when the bike was on the back of a pickup truck while being taken to hattar.

I guess the automated camera could not take a picture of the back plate of the truck so took a back plate of my bike and sent me the ticket. :duh:

I called them up too, and they said there's nothing they can do or prove that it wasnt the bike riding the ticket. sigh.

That's so stupid. License plate fix-it ticket = 10 dollars. Live and learn

Not a fix it ticket. The truck has a rear license plate and front. But since the bike was on the bed, the rear of trunk door was flipped down. Hence they didnt get a proper picture.
