time to find a new online OEM parts vendor, while they are reasonable in pricing PZ never has anything in stock, initial ship date wasn't kept. If I want something and don't care if it comes to my door before 3-4 weeks then sure, they're money. But that's not me.

Suggest me an online OEM parts house that'll actually have a reasonable inventory on-hand with decent pricing - who do you use?

Bike Bandit. After the AMA member discount, maybe I still pay a little more than some other, but I get better service.

Parts Outlaw is the only place I buy OEM parts from. Some things they have on hand but if it's a modern bike they can get them pretty quickly. They have the cheapest prices around that I've seen. Use "BANG" to get free shipping.

A lot of the dealerships like Moto Cafe, Contra Costa Powersports, etc are implimenting internet pricing.

Check out the dealer website, and compare, it may be surprising.

I have been ordering parts from honda East toledo after a friend pointed me to them. I am getting most stuff in little over a week and their prices are best.

I used to get OEM parts at the local dealer. But it just does not make sense anymore. They don't have anything in stock anyway and I have to go there twice(to place order and to pickup) and cost over 20% more. Shipping costs less than gas to drive to the dealer in most cases; but the biggest savings is time. I save over an hour ordering from home.

Nobody has parts on hand. It is an obsolete business model.

yeah I was under the impression every one of these places are drop ship, not really going to see much difference. I've had the same issues with bikebandit, I just go to my local dealer and get OEM stuff that way now. Usually cheaper, save shipping.

I advise you to use google.

Just search by upc, mfg # and or item #.

Ive found websites that dont have a zillion things going on with advertisement/marketing are usually alot cheaper then yhe websites with big advertisement and site management.

Last time i bought like 3x cox radiator guard for like 50% off retail for a 09+ r1 and resold each one with like $20 profit after paying paypal and s/h fees. It was some smalltime website dont even remember its name

Also try overseas, i just bought a 2016 oem aprilia seat for $150+s/h for a tuono v4

Same seat ppl posting on af1 it was only 74 euro - $80-81 usd.....

I could have gotten it cheaper direct from italy then from the biggest ape dealer in the us. Fukn weird

Wait for it, wait for it, bam
UPS bill for import duties. Sometimes it can take a couple of weeks but the bill is yours to pay.

In my experience it's the small-time websites that screw up your order, or take weeks to ship because they don't have a first priority relationship with the manufacturer.

This one place held my money for 2 or 3 months before I had to harass them to refund my credit card and stop pretending they had a legitimate back-order going.

Ive paid custom taxes for tcx boots from italy - $300 boots with like $30 in customs.

It a %, i dont think they would charge me another $80 in customs for that same seat. Just bad purchasing and pricing for ape usa - do remember the euro is down like 2-300% right now

Well i have a special mom and pops website ive been getting my chain and sprocket sets, cheaper then shit $151 shipped for driven steel sprockets and some $100 did 520 somewhat ok namebrand chain - ive used it on 09 r1 and a 11 zx10r.

They are seriously cheaper then shit and have even drop shipped the marchesini rear sprocket for me directly from driven since they didnt stock it.

I priced out all 3 components by part # and i could not get all 3 items shipped to me cheaper due to s/h

true, but it just seems worse with them then what I'd expect.

Feels like I have to wait for Marv the driver to come in on his day off from the factory to work his second job as the parts driver. He grabs whatever shopping list they hand him as he rambles back out the door to buckle up in the ford country squire station wagon and begin the journey into the next county as he heads over to the bike shop at 25mph the whole way in a 45mph zone. Goddamn city folk drive too damn fast. Marv walks in the door of the shop 2 hours later, chats up the large chested girl who answers the phone there with his one tooth smile before heading towards Cletus who works parts in the back. He pulls out the crumpled up handwritten note stuffed in his back pocket and has a cup of coffee with Cletus before they get down to it.

Its like 5 days before they'll get the parts on hand to begin to consider shipping the expedited order, god forbid something is on back order....

WTF? Cycle Gear yo......

Wait....is partzilla ah revzilla? because I haven't had any problems with them. Also, I like Motorcycle Superstore, and Motorcycle Clouseouts is OK. But, I'm not really a mechanical parts person. You can get filters off Amazon cheap. But I just got a set of Diablos from BIKEBANDIT (fixed) for $150. And my Vespa rear from MCSuperstore was cheaper than ScooterWorks! Wasn't Motorcycle Warehouse a good place along with Ron Ayers? meh.
