Lagunitas Sucks!

I've had an ale of theirs, the name of which at the moment eludes me, which tasted like gin.

I've had their Cappucino Stout, which, disappointingly and unforgivably, tasted like gin.

And I've had their IPA, which tasted like a LOT of gin.

So while I may be speaking too broadly, there definitely seems to be a pattern.

I must say I've never ever thought of gin when drinking their brews.

What is your favorite beer(s) to give us an idea of the style of brew you like.

My "go to" beers are Lagunitas IPA and Guinness...though I'll pretty much drink anything that doesn't have fruit in it or is a Hefferveisen.

Of the Lagunitas brews I don't like their Maximus, Hairy Eyeball, Brown Shugga or Little Sumpin'.

pretty much any bottled stout sans N2 widget is gonna taste like shit. ever try the old school guinness extra stout bottles? :barf
 
Danvie Costco has single big bottles of Cappacino stout if anyone likes that.

I have to somewhat agree that some of their beers taste too much alike.
A lil something something tastes like Sucks, but with more hops.

and for the record, the only IPA that's better than lagunitas is harpoon..and it's neck and neck. goddamn i wish they sold it out here..

Hey, you should be glad it's hops in the stout, Dr. E. In the Middle Ages, before hops was discovered to be an ideal flavoring agent and mild preservative for beer, they used fuckin' bog myrtle.

Mmmm, hops. Mmmm, Lagunitas.

I'm drinking one of their IPAs right now, I love living so close to the brewery and have ridden up there. It's a chill place, with free live music a lot and they let you bring dogs.

Don't really care for their shugga so I probably wouldn't like the sucks, hmmmmm.

Brown Shugga is my favorite Lagunitas brew. But yeah, not everyone likes it, but alot of folks do. Sucks is completely different, you should try it.

Little Sumpin is good, but i like Little sumpin wild alot better.

Whatever though, just about everything Lagunitas brews is good.

I'm past giving a shit what other people have to say about it. If my opinionated nature offends you, I would encourage you to avail yourself of any one of the many bridges in this area.

Got a 6er of the Sucks... It didnt suck, hoppy but not super heavy and nice drinkability.
