I thought #66 was going to do better, too! At least he managed to come out on top of the four rider scrap, and break away from Melandri, West, and Checa.

Jim, I don't mind if anyone posts spoilers in this thread, it's happening and I don't think anyone checks this out because they want to be in suspense, hahaha.

Yo yo Liam. Your buddy Stonefeld is an interesting guy to say the least. I've known him from the old AtlasF1 forum (Before they were bought by Haymarket and before he was photo editor) and chat it up on IRC with him from time to time. Funny how that works.

I'm a bit surprised though that he didn't grab your arse just before or after you took the photo with him. :D
 
Well, Jello, it sounds like we're definitely talking about the same Stonefeld, haha. Seemed like a nice guy, interested in motorcycle design and racing, but still too much a part of the car-side.

Happy Fourth of July everybody! Tonight I'm going out with a Brit, just to rub it in. Tomorrow? More work and hopefully, increased chances of breaking the top six factory bike's grip at the front of the pack. Seems like lately we've been running around chasing two yamaha's, Stoner, an HRC machine, some Suzuki's, and an ocassional Kawi - we gotta get in there!
 
Top 6, eh? Just 12 pts (or was it 14?) and you can break into the Top 5! Gresini doesn't seem to be so strong either!

Question. What is the general scene and strategy in the Pramac pits for the second half of the season? Did you guys get enough of a feel with the new machines to up the bar a bit? Since a variety of tracks have been covered, are the riders feeling more confident now than at the start of the season?

Offtopic: I would love to go with the Suzuki girls. Race no bar, age no bar, height no bar, they just have to be hawt and show up in their Blue uniform!!

Hmmm, Gresini is still ahead of us by a little bit, because the results come from top finisher, and they've podiumed twice this season. With Elias out for a short while, it's all on Melandri, and whether or not we can pip them remains to be seen.

The general scene and strategy in my garage is the same as it's always been. Work hard, race to win. We were totally familiar with the bikes before the season started, thanks to so many hours in the preseason working on the dang things, hahaha. Now that we've found some good chassis set-ups for differing tracks, it should simplify the process of finding the best one during the free practices. Theoretically. As for raising the bar, now is the time of the season where we'll begin to find new parts failing, hahaha. Actually, the process of evolution is constant, and I'm replacing things all the time as we find new solutions to ongoing issues with the 800's. Anyway, gotta run.

And off-topic? Eye candy is just that - bad for your teeth. Living this life makes me realize the true value of a beautiful woman.

got a question for you about haydens exhaust. it looked like that both of his exhausts were at different areas on the left and right side of his bike.

am i just halucinating or is there a reason for this?

Not sure if everyone is still working, the day after (was it a big holiday? Can't remember), but I'm back at it in Barcelona, and so is this guy. Meet Duncan, the MotoGP.com website administrator for the English version of the website. Does he have some stories to tell, hahaha, mostly about how he can't stand all the flash and gobblety-gook on the website. When I joked about the Google ads on the site, he says it's a constant problem because ads will show up for World Superbike, Formula One, and other directly competing organizations. He's also the guy who's responsible for any typos, hahaha, which I gave him a hard time about because just yesterday I caught one in the race statistics post. Anyway, back to it.

I think this is a great thread and agree you should write a book on your experience, the only problem is now that I finished reading the whole thread I have to wait in real time for more.
