Phew, out of the house for a month!
Just realized that I'll be on the road for the next month, to the day, and that meant cleaning the crap out of the kitchen, the fridge (like, totally), and straightening up my room. Since I've pretty much been using the pad as a rest stop between races - coming home to shower and do laundry - I haven't taken much time to go through all my collected paperworks, magazines, and assorted garbage that just sort of accumulates when you aren't really paying attention.
My roomates are out for the summer, too, hanging out on the island of Mallorca until September. That meant I cleaned their stuff out of the fridge, hahaha. Good Riddance! I'm stoked, I really am. This has been incredible for me, and right now I'm feeling like there's so much more potential out there. Personally, professionally, I just keep thinking that there's even more positive energy out there to tap into.
Will I eventually write a book about my experiences? It's possible, but my viewpoint is quite skewed and I'm privvy to so much more information about certain subjects that to write about them would mean career suicide in the racing industry. At least out here. Maybe when I'm done here, I'll think about it, but I think it's more important to concentrate on the best aspects of this sport and the people that it brings together. Think about it - the best rider's, the best bikes, and this year it's possible for a small Italian company with a handful of engineers to topple the sheer might of the Japanese, and more impressively, Valentino Rossi. No matter how it turns out, I'll have been blessed to see what I have and experienced it all up close and personal.
