Well, from reading most of the thread.. looks like he is owning up to his fuck up and not exactly "justifying" anything.
What make me go wtf?
1. Girl didnt want to wear extra gear, which he had in the tail section.
2. Girl wasnt his wife/girlfriend. His wife was at home. Apparantly, smart enough to know to let some other girl ride with him, cuz she dont want to be the one to "break" his fall.
