I only made $3.15/hr, but the cheeseburgers were only $0.25.

The freezer was downstairs and the stairwell was right next to the back door with a slide that would fold down over the steps. The delivery guy could park the back of his truck right next to the door and simply toss the food boxes onto the slide. I would catch them at the bottom and put them on a manual conveyor, and give them a push to the guy in the freezer.

Delivery guy thought it was funny chucking the 50lb boxes of frozen meat so hard it didn't even touch the slide, so I turn for the next box and get slammed into the chain link fence behind me. I quit to go work for Woolworth.

Never had a McRib.

Apparently even though there is an awesome menu item at McDonald’s right now does not mean that all the workers in those McDonald’s are awesome.

This is what I got today after ordering “no pickles no onions”

They're not, but they are. McDonald's is advertising it nationally as a national roll-out.
 
I understand why all the NorCal ones didn’t do it two years ago. In 2018, the “national” McRib promo was 2 for $5. So I can see why some franchisees didn’t want to have a loss leader.

This time around it’s full price. At the McDonalds I go to they are $4.69 each. Add the fries and drink and they are doing just fine. Have my gluttony wagon roll through the drive thru where I order a second McRib and large size the meal, and it’s pretty much a $15 lunch.

they do that with all of their releases and deals. All it means when they say National Roll Out is that it is being rolled out to all nationally to Corporate Owned Restaurants. Franchises still have the ability to opt out, but most don't because they want to take advantage of the advertising.

There is some funny ass Social Media Melt Downs out there from people who wanted a Shamrock McFlurry or some shit and couldn't get one.
