McRib is returning!

Hey Rob how do I turn off those annoying beeps my car makes while driving.
I had a couple of visitors last week and we were out on a windy road and it was beeping on every turn. Seemed the same whether the lane keeping was on or off.
I guess I had learned to ignore it, playing tunes and all, but my passengers asked wtf is up with the noise and with that I realized how annoying it really is.

Lane watching nanny technology is so awesome. :laughing

Can you? Sounds like you can't. :laughing

Reading comprehension?

LKAS (lane keep assist) is different than LDW (lane departure warning). When I owned an Infiniti they can be used independently of each other, but both were useful and didn't bother me (I know how to drive).

I have both also and can each be turned off independently, I also know how to drive. But unfortunately I haven't figured out how to turn off the annoying chirping/beep sound the car makes every minute or so.

It’s either the lane departure or forward collision warning. With the infotainment system, you can go in the settings->vehicle settings->and set FCW distance to short to reduce its sensitivity. There’s also a LKAS suspend beep that you should set to off. Other than that, there’s nothing else I can think of to make it beep less.

This thing would squak for no fuckin' reason. And pull in front of someone within 150' and it would freak out and tell you you almost died. :afm199

Did it finally give up on you and display the cup of coffee on the dash?
That's when you know you've won. :laughing

In the pork, It is all restructured meat from the insides of pigs including their heart, tripe, and scalded stomach cooked and processed. The processing removed all salt-soluble protein and congeals creating a rubbery patty that seems like the real thing. It also includes propyl gallate and BHA, which are preservatives that can lead to thyroid, urinary, and bladder carcinogenesis, stomach hyperplasia, and cytotoxicity.

Those negatives are offset by getting a side order of vitamin enriched fries.
