McRib is returning!

I want to try a bite of one just to see what the hubbub is about. I'm not about to go out of my way though

This is a McRib? They got as much sauce on the box as they did the bun, and those onions and pickles look like they've been bleached. It was a real effort to swallow. Later in the afternoon my kidneys started to hurt, and they still hurt this morning. I had a sleepless night of stomach grumbling and gas, so I can't wait to shit this out. I don't think hash-browns or spam can help this thing. I'm gonna go suck on a kale and spinach smoothie.

That’s a big fail on the sauce right there. I’m sorry your one, and probably only, sampling of the mighty McRib was a terrible one.

Yep, sad that he'll likely never get a chance to get a good one. BTW, I always ask for extra sauce.

Say that’s a good idea. Maybe order a sixer of McNuggets instead of fries and use the McRib sauce instead of the pedestrian nugget BBQ sauce.

Yup. That happens tomorrow. Count sitting at 14* as of right now.

My wife likes the McRib sauce much more than the generic BBQ sauce they have, they are not the same. When we got one earlier this week, I simply asked for more on the side, and they gave me some in a little plastic cup.

Thanks for jogging my memory ! I did have spam when I was in Hawaii a couple years ago..:thumbup

NICE!!

Yeah, pretty much anyplace the Navy was serious, they eat SPAM.

Spamsilog is possibly the only way to survive the alcohol the next day sometimes.

I first ate SPAM around 1950 or 1951, army family, and it's been in my diet since. Great stuff. Nothing wrong with pig asshole and gristle.

Even with the whole ‘rona situation, this is still the best December I can remember since the days I still believed in Santa Claus.

It's the little things, right?

It is. Last year I bought myself a bunch of material things and it pales in comparison to being able to have McRibs all month (or however long it lasts).

:laughing that's awesome.
rich people are spending zillions just to get a small piece of that sort of happiness.

I miss living with my uncle in Waipahu and getting spam musubis from the 7-11 near one of our work sites for lunch. Cheap and better than the terrible convenience store food we have here.

That is it, I'm making SPAM Musubi tonight. I better start cooking the rice.

Had another one today. :love

Never gets old. Only did one today since I decided to do the SEAL meal at McDonalds today. Filet o Fish for the sea, Chicken McNuggets for the air, and that leaves the McRib for the.....laaaaand (?) part of it.

I did not know this was a thing, but now I want it, and I don't even like McRib.

It’s not “a thing” really. I’m just a complete psychopath and have been known to order three sandwiches for one meal. The usual SEAL meal for me is filet o fish, McChicken, and Quarter Pounder. But you get the idea, feel free to use whatever variation you’d like.
