Men's fashion, how far will it go?

My brother who works in a men's dept at a Nordstrom's in Miami has fashion sense.
I have none.

My older brother, who's a normal size human AND has a full head of hair (fucker), has great fashion sense. I buy what fits... which ain't much.

Stretchy materials have made tighter shorts a lot more enjoyable. I usually go for golf or stretchy denim shorts because you get good pockets for keys, wallet, & phone.

Of course I type this while wearing 5” workouts shorts for the gym today.

Why not yoga pants?
The women would enjoy that?
I was the first guy to wear tights in our health club for aerobics class back in the 80's. The women approved.

When I was in junior high school (‘63 - ‘65), I had a black friend who could wear just about anything and make it look cool. All the girls were after him. One day he showed up at school wearing Levi’s and a pink dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up a couple of times. He taught me that pink could look so masculine.

Now, if I want to dress up, I’ll wear Levi’s and one of my awesome, custom made Hawaiian shirts. Sandals complete the look. And I look goooood.

I think this would look great on you but on a different, more slimming background color. The white background would make you look washed out and would add a few pounds to your frame.

I am all for men in stretchy pants and short shorts. It's about time they showed some leg.

It’s crazy how much better many clothes look when tailored. Button-up shirts are at the top of my list for tailoring. Sometimes I can wear one well off the shelf, maybe if it has a pattern. But usually not.

That’s part of why models look so good in clothes. It was all made for their size and proportions.

I just took two things in to get tailored to my body. They'll look so much better afterward.

Off the shelf clothes are not made for athletic bodies, in my experience. They all seem designed for a body that is the same width in the waist as it is in the chest, sometimes even moreso.

That's what I wear around the house year around.

Don't forget that us even older guys brought neon pink, green and blue into fashion in the 80's. @KazMan rocked those colors back in the day for his race bikes and leathers.

I know one dude that raced a fully pink bike in fully pink leathers.

High end fashion stuff is always looking to shock people from my limited experience.

Biggest thing with fashion or the human existing is do what feels right as long as no harm is involved. Personally I kind of going to clothing choices.

Fashion shows are like any other art show, meant to be cutting edge, out there and not for the general public. Looking at the photos in the OP from an art perspective I find the designs are amazingly creative. Having said that none of us will ever find these clothes at Macys, Forever 21, H&M, etc so it's no use getting all worked up about "you said it looks gay" "No I didn't".
Also, we all know what would happen in the real world if someone showed up for a job interview at a construction site, law firm, financial services company, etc dressed like the models in the show.
It's art man, that's all it is. I may like it, you may not but in the end it's a big "so what".

Not really. Golfers are known for being quite colorful, no matter the decade. Look at Caddyshack, lol

Is that really your concern? Fashion shows have alwaqsy been outrageous and pushing the boundaries of what anyone would call a style.

I also have calves like that. Just the way I am built.
