Wonder how the others did?

wet QP

biagi on his bad QP(14th)
"We had fun - Biaggi commented - but the twin engine isn't at its best in the rain. It has nothing to do with the chassis, only the engine, which tends to get the bike sideways on the brakes, even with the engine braking turned down to the minimum. Maybe it would have been better to use a single in this weather, but I wanted to stay an Aprilia rider to the very end."

passini was the highest QP road racer

So dovis neck hurts to ride the Duc, but super moto, no problem...

I'm thiniking after the Valencia test he knew he was fucked and is trying to avoid the bike now

Dayum, didn't know that Karel Abraham was paired with Boris Chambon, way cool.

Don't know what you guys were doing 12 years ago (Karel must have been about 10 or 11 yrs old LOL) but I was in the stands at Tsukuba Circuit in Japan watching this guy Boris Chambon slide a Husky around a roadrace course like I'd never even imagined. How can a bike be so sideways, all the time? It was mind-blowing riding skills on display! :thumbup

Awesome that so many people showed up for the Super Sic event.

Jerez looked like that in 2010 as well, FYI. (the full picture).

Yeah, that was a trolling pic. Jerez is the one track that will be full no matter what happens in GP.

:laughing Oh that's cold.

Classic. From gpone, about Rossi and Biaggi who are at the Sic Supermoto event:

Time, then, to leave the past behind. It is curious how in the night between Saturday and Sunday, Rossi has become ' follower ' of Biaggi on Twitter. Seemingly insignificant gesture view, if not spirit of friendship, curiosity, to say the least.

and seriously, how lol is Guintoli's situation. haha. fucking Denning. HaHa creepface.
Was Sylvia suppose to have a Denning ride?
Classic. From gpone, about Rossi and Biaggi who are at the Sic Supermoto event:
Ut oh. Rossi is planning his own retirement, and wants to make sure he has someone to beat-up on, in some kind of race after MotoGP. Don't get suckered in, Max. Don't do it.

Sic Foundation All Stars race Results

Dovi wins, rossi third, passini 5th, max 8th

After missing the Jerez test because of a neck injury, just a couple of days ago, how were you able to ride here?
"At Jerez I suffered the strain in the first braking zone after the main straight - the Italian rider continued - We don't know exactly what happened. Maybe it was because of the motocross riding I have done recently, or perhaps because of my crashes in Malaysia and Australia... I don't know. I didn't hit my head on anything, but my neck and shoulders suddenly locked up. Maybe we need to look further back, at the big crash I suffered a few years ago at Barcelona, when I wound up hitting the wall. The truth is that not even my physiotherapist could solve the problem, and none of the medicine I took helped either. But here in Latina I felt better, even if not perfect. And the riding position of a motord is very different from a MotoGP bike. You are more upright and less leaned over, so it wasn't as bad for me."

Are you very upset about missing the test?
"In the end, not too much. Sure, I would have liked to gain more confidence on the Desmosedici. Even if the temperatures were cold, it would have been three good hours of riding each day, which I could have used, but more for my confidence than for development. There will be many changes to the team next year, and things will be different, so in the end the test wasn't too important."

You rode very well in this race...
"I'm happy because there were really a lot of people here. Unfortunately in the race I didn't come up against Valentino Rossi or Max Biaggi, and I was always riding alone. But the event was really nice, and I'm happy so many big names decided to participate. We can't do anything for Marco, but we can always help his foundation."

What's next for you?
"Tuesday I'll be operated on by Prof. Porcellini to remove the plate from my clavicle, and then I'll rest a little. I really need some time to relax and spend with my family and daughter."

Looks like Dovi had a lot of help from multi-time European Supermoto Champ Mauno Hermunen.

GP position is going to be completely different than a Mo-tard, especially when braking. I can see being able to do one, and not the other.

I wish I got a plate on my clavicle. Seriously.

That's what I figured. The bike ain't no better than it was all year, it's uncompetitive as it sits. Wake Dovi up when the team brings a bike to the track that handles like his Yamaha.

"let nicky do the test grunt work while injured. Ive got a supermoto race to win."

:laughing
