Crutchlow is satellite rider on a satellite bike on satellite team
Bradl is satellite rider on a factory bike on satellite team

and neither will be getting very many upgrades throughout the year, so their factory counterparts will be much faster than them by Valencia. but only one of them will complain about it every single interview.

:laughing

You gotta admit though, Cal makes for colorful commentaries. That and his performance does make you wonder what he can do on factory-spec machinery. At least it makes me wonder.

ok, I apologize if this is just way beyond dumb. But couldn't Ducati bring back their bike from when Stoner won the ship, drop in a new current motor and be ahead of where they are currently? Maybe not fighting for wins….but probably well ahead of the CRT’s.

I’m sure all the competition has totally improved their bikes year after year and the former winning Ducati would no longer be a winning bike … but would it be a 2 second gap bike still?

What is now painfully obvious to Ducati is that it's not that they got the GP07 so right out of the gate, it's that they got it right having hired Stoner to ride it.

It was the Indian, not the arrow.

If they were gonna bring any bike back, they should bring the 06 bike back. I doubt that bike would work well with the current bridgestone tires though.

But if you wanna talk about good Ducati GP bikes, the 990 was better, even if it didn't win any titles.

The one with the "ideal" engine design...

Quote Jeremy Burgess 2012

"Every engineer I've spoken to about engine design for a motorcycle, and
that means Yamaha and Honda, they've all said a 90º V is ideal. So I don't
think we can blame the V angle of the engine in any shape or form."

I'd rather have House and Karlitos back than see anymore of your posts in the GP threads.

Open telegram to Ducati:

Go to the bank. Withdraw a lot of money. Go to Australia and flat out beg Casey Stoner to come back. All begging should be done with fat stacks of bushy green money.

2-3 full seconds off the pace. Yah, I read Nicky's "it's last years bike" excuse and I don't even care if it's true. Ducati is in t-t-trouble! CRT bikes just might beat them on a consistent basis. I bet Colin is just lickin his chops.

I wonder who has the most money to burn - Ducati/Marlboro, or Honda/Repsol?

Cause a stacked company like Honda couldn't even pay Stoner enough to stay on a great bike, much less a Desmo. :laughing

i read a rossi quote earlier saying that his team loves working for yamaha because by 6pm, they are having fun and drinking beers. when they were working for ducati, at 6pm the bike was in pieces :laughing

JB shoulda been a dick and predicted before the test that they'd have the Yam sorted out in 18 seconds or whatever.

hahaha JB couldnt say shit because he was too busy eating ducati crow. at least they proved that it was the bike that was fucked and not the rider/team.

'06 Ducati was fast. Capi was my fav for that year on it. Stoner would probably make people nuts, if he came back on that bike. It would probably take about 28 kazillion hobo dollars, and a fishing boat or two, to make him think about it.

Yeah, but the opportunity to lay some smackdown on the paddock by whooping some ass on the "half-way back on the track" Ducati would appeal to Stoner.

I know, I gotta stop drinking red-bull and eating jelly doughnuts for dinner . . . but still, who wouldn't pay to see that?!!

Fuck all that noise. Put him on a CRT.

And watch him upset the order.
