N+1

Einstein, in his relatively unknown 2nd hypothesis, later corroborated by Steven Hawking, said that 5 bikes is the MINIMUM number of motorcycles to own.
1 sport
2 tour
3 dirt
4 track
5 hooligan, either SM or endure

Mad

I did 5 + 1 last Sunday. Got it to fit in my half of the garage but it isn’t elegant. This whole week I’ve only wanted to ride the newest addition; the existing 5 might as well not be here. This is when I wish bikes could somehow be shared so they’re not just sitting around and jamming up the garage space most of the time.

Ideally, living rooms could be set up elegantly like high-end bike showrooms for over-flow bike parking, but I assume most wives don’t share that vision.

I have four but would like more to cover the entire spectrum from Trials bike through high speed two up sport tourer (C14?)

Currently - 1 running bike, 1 I've cannibalized to make the first one run, and a scoot. Looking a possible #3. Want others, but $$$

I love my C14... i think I am going to buy a new Street Glide, and keep 3 total... my Low Rider S, the Street Glide, and my C14.

I love my old 97 electra glide tho, and i really love my 87 vfr

:rofl

Bought 3 bikes in one. Always had two or three bikes until the garage was only a mirage. Long live the Multistrada

My N is too many!

I can actually say that I don’t want any more bikes… (wait, that’s not true, I would love to try some new moto sports that I don’t have the bike for. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough time to ride all the bikes I have now!)

Every time I have enough time for a ride, there are 13 two wheelers that just beg to be ridden, and it STRESSES me out that I can only ride one at a time! It’s so hard to decide who to flog!

I look through the garage, the house, the shed, and 7 motorcycles and 6 bicycles beg for me to take them out (4 different motorcycle sports and 4 different bicycle sports I love to do at this time, but I have a few redundant bikes, in case one breaks or needs maintenance).

I kinda envy those that can get by with one bike. Keep it simple if you can!

(1st world problems; so tough :laughing )

That's exactly the spread I have!
[Wanna buy my C14 (2010?) These bikes are a blast! Such a rocket]

Too many wheels. Get ride of some bicycles, and replace 'em with unicycles. Yeah I saw your username.

FWIW I have two motorcycles, two bicycles and two unicycles.

good one :laughing but I much prefer getting two wheelers up OnTo1Wheel! (either wheel works) I don't even know how to ride a unicycle!

What dub said. You need a quiver to address different disciplines.

^^^I'm in the same camp. Trials bike, trail bike, dual sport bike, street bike, vintage bike. Probably need to pick up small street bike, supermoto, and a scooter just to round things out a bit.

I have a streetbike (SV1000), a plated supermoto (WR450), and a track/race supermoto (YZ426)

I'm planning on swapping the WR450 for a newer one fairly soon, I could see doing so on the YZ too but probably won't.

I'd like something ADV-ish but don't have space for another bike

After I bought my 990 Adventure, I no longer had a need for the Ducati ST2, so I sold it. If you get the right adventure bike you won't need the SV1000 anymore.

When it's all over you get a scooter young man!
of corse like all things Zombiland it needs a little work

Two days ago I had 4 bikes, now I have 5 ('08 vstrom is the new one). It's my 12th bike in 7 years of riding. So yeah, N+1 is definitely a thing.
