Naming your motorcycle

I'm no help, for sure, the whole idea seems alien to me.

A fighter plane?

A bomber?

A ship?

Sure.

But a motorcycle or personal car?

Just plain weird.

I've named all of them. Always a female name.

My current one is named Scarlett because she is red and ill-tempered. My last was Ursula because she was fat and ugly and German. :laughing

Mine came with a name, ZX-10, I might call it insane, but...just saying it, in the best way possible, :hail wise.

Same, last was Jill. She was a whore like the Jill I dated.
New one is PAtxi, can;t decide if I like it or not even if it makes me happy. There's also been Jane and a few others.

Tinkerbell.

same here.

I haven't names all of them. Just the special ones.

Cliff Diver. Self explanatory.

Liberty. Red, White and Blue, and riding her was liberating.

Persephone. Goddess of the Spring who lives off-season in the Underworld (aka the garage).

Suzy.

I recently bought my SV, the week before Valentines day.

People at work kept asking me if I had any plans for V-day. (I didn't), so I just told them I was gonna spend time with Suzy.

Only named one. My newest. Her name is Mia. She's a supermodel when you look at her and a hooker when you ride her.

Mine all go by the same name of Godammit.
"Faster Godammit"
"Turn Godammit"
"Start Godammit"

I figured I'd give the naming bit a try; mostly based on their nationality
Mille: Bella (she IS beautiful)
Pegaso: Signora Rossini (I guess in contrast to Bella)
GSXR: Akiko (don't know that many Japanese names)
KTM: PO named her Katie, so she'll stay Katie, I guess. Helga maybe?

But even after naming them, I basically refer to them as the Mille, the GSXR, etc. most of the time.

Goldie, after the character in Frank Miller's Sin City series... because the bike was gold.
Betty, from Ram Jam's song Black Betty... because the bike was black, and I like the song.
Abbey, after the character Abbey Chase from the Danger Girl comic books... because it was my track bike, and it just seemed fitting.
Sonja, after Red Sonja (the comic book Red Sonja that actually kicks ass, not the lame movie Red Sonja)... because the bike was red.
Ugly Betty, from the TV show... because the bike is ugly as sin.

Interesting question! My Vette was named Jolene. Sexy, dark and pure evil!

My bikes I kinda think of as female entities, but I never named them. Strange, that. The Spyder, since she is #14 of 500 ever made of that type I simply call 14. The FA, well, I never got around to naming it. Probably never will. She'll just be the FA. And that works for me.

I named them all. I referred to them by name when I had many in the garage.

But now that I only have the one bike, Matilda, I refer to it as "The KTM"

My wife's bike is still Sylvia though. We still call her by name.

My SV is Susie .. self explanatory.

My car is Michelle .. cuz she's black and my first lady .. or at least was when I named her.
