Um, I meant about the Male Cheerleader.

Right now the Giants are asking at least (2) 1st round picks for Odell if you listen to the underground, but officially he is not on the table according to team ownership.

I think I said something in last years thread about his days being numbered as a Giant. Too much prima donna shit, contract demands simply DO NOT get answered in Bluetown, too much bad press. They will never let him go cheap, but if a deal comes our way, I think we will take it, even though he will be a hard talent to replace.

I can kind of see where Beckham is coming from too on a certain level. The last decade has had a lot of success for the Giants, but since Odell joined the team, we have only had one playoff season and some real stinkers to go along. He certainly isn't handling it like a professional, but he also can't seem to stay healthy, soooo....

Yeah, that is kind of how I feel. His potential is off the charts, like, his average season so far is on par with Terrell Owens best season, but teams put up with TO because he showed the fuck up and he showed up hard, even if he was a locker room cancer. OdB has 4 seasons in and has already missed almost an entire seasons worth of injury, not to mention NYG is just NOT the team to be that guy on. We let J-Shock go for a reason. Tiki Barber was pushed to retire for a reason.

New York is the king of media, hype central, it is a tough place to be a top baller, because the hype will get so wound up on you that you will start to believe in all the bullshit they spin about you. Once that happens, once you start to believe in your own legend, it just cometh before the fall.

Given the talent they had the last few seasons it’s odd that they have failed to achieve more. Maybe there’s not so much an individual cancer in the locker room as there is a general, mental laziness?
