Well, yes and no. Kaep and RGIII are both washed up mediocre QB’s. The difference is that one comes with Press Drama and the other doesn’t. I would recommend Kaep for physical reliability over RGIII, but not enough to make it worth buying his press drama.

Neither of these guys I would be booked to start. For a Starter on the top of his game, you might suffer a lot of Press Drama in order to win. Either of these dudes is on the roster as a back-up plan. A dude to have around incase all other plans fail as a 2nd or 3rd stringer. For a guy like that, I don’t buy the Press Drama, because it won’t be reduced by his roster ranking, even though it does impact his ability to help the team win.

They say Manziel has been working out for scouts and is trying to get back in. He might be able to as a cheap back up somewhere. reclaimation guys liek him are throw away guys. You can get them on the roster and see if it goes anywhere on the cheap. I think he would get a job before Kaep, because a throw away guy like these guys is just not worth the attached drama that comes with Kaep.

I believe that Kaep got hosed and should still be playing. I would have loved to see my Broncos pick him up.

To Eldritch's point JM and RGIII are cheap options to try out. Heck even JM said he would go play in Canada if the NFL didn't work out for him (Timmy T refused to play in Canada so his football career ended, he sucked anyway). So if JM is trying to get back on the straight and narrow I wish him luck., he seems willing to take any available option to prove it. There really is no downside for teams to give JM or RGIII a shot at a backup role. From a pure football standpoint Kaep would be a better choice, but stupid murica really doesn't understand America.

impressive number if this was for 6 games.

that was for 12 games. He was also sacked 36 times...many of them he ran into. Also fumbled 9 times (3 lost), killing drive after drive.

to categorize Kaep as anything above mediocre is insulting the intelligence of anyone who saw him actually play.
 
Did you forget the fucking dumpster fire of a team he was on? His QB rating of 90 was higher than the league average that season.

It's comical at this point watching people bend over backward to justify RG3 or Manziel though :laughing

There's 0 chance Kaep gets signed by a team in the league he is currently suing.

I would also like to bring up that Michael Vick was always a trash QB. :)
