NFL 2018/2019 Thread

Looks like Antonio Brown didn't come to work on Monday after putting up his, "Trade Me," tweet. Bell is still holding out. I feel like the Steelers locker room is imploding right now, where is Elbacalo when you need him? :laughing

I watched that game. Ben was HORRIBLE when throwing to Brown. Flat-out missed him like 6 straight times in the end zone. Then he throws to someone else and it's on a fucking line. And then to hear shit from an ex-employee...I'd be a bit upset if I was Brown too.

So, does Chucky get fired this season, or does Bowl Cut keep him around for another one?

Way to blow $100 mil and your team's best player :laughing

:wtf Chucky I thought called a hell of a game. And, he's not going anywhere. Marc adores Chucky.

I wish they would have kept Mack. It hurts to see him in another uniform. But it didn't make financial sense, and that really sucks. Maybe the cap needs to be more friendly so a team can keep more than one super-high-priced player.

Reports are Reggie will be leaving the team at the end of the season, so the team will be Gruden’s completely.

If the draft picks they got for Mack turn out to be good ones, the Raiders should have 2 solid 1st round spots (their own, and the one from the Bears), they could have some pretty good options to choose from... provided they don’t blow it. The bears pulled off the trade, but given what they did to get Trubiskey, I really don’t trust their long term plan.

This really does remind me of the heat jerry Jones and jimmy Johnson got after trading Walker and then promptly went 1-15. Time will tell.

They said in Gruden's 61 picks with the Bucs, only 3 made it to the Pro-Bowl. And one of the players went after he moved on from the Bucs. Numbers say Gruden doesnt draft well. Too bad Reggie is leaving. Bowl-cut got his man, that's all that matters.

I didn't hear about McKenzie on the outs but it makes a bit of sense.

AFA the bears...good thing for them Trubisky sucks balls. He won't need $25M/year to stay when his contract is up.

nope that was all 100% gruden and mckenzie.

a broadcaster interviewed mack right after the trade, and asked him if gruden rang you up and said "your our guy, but we cant pay you that $$$ this year" he said he woulda taken the paycut to wear silver and black.

gruden and mckenzie never talked to mack or his agent since like feb of this year.

Fukn RIDICULOUS - you let the #1 gamechanger player in the league walk.

But I agree, gruden playcalling kept the D at hand and allowed Carr to hit those fast releases.

Well, they have lost an unprecedented 19 games straight. I have to assume some excitement will pick up when they break the streak?

:laughing there he is

gg to the Broncos. They made just enough plays.

Despite my ribbing/poking, for the entire first half Denver looked like a DIII school playing Alabama. They really had no business winning that game. Denver isn’t known for making great adjustments at halftime, especially ones that can stop such a great 1st half of play by the Raiders. Carr had an impressive game.

Even if Denver had lost, it was still a great Sunday of football...the Patriots got SMASHED!!!
