NFL 2018/2019 Thread

I wish we had a pass rush...Gruden said Mack was great but we still lost. Carr played nearly perfect and Raiders still lost....so, trade Carr??

How bad is it going if you retire from the sport at half-time:

EDIT: Although Eli looked like he wanted to.

Yeah, he hasn't been sacked 6 times since 2014. Looks like the bad side of expectations are coming through for the Giants. They are showing playmakers extraordinaire on Offense, but but just can't get rolling due to the O-Line being a sieve. They may still come together as a unit later in the season, but I think resolving Flowers as another Draft Bust on stupid Jerry Reese's shelf is real.

Pick your poison is in effect. The Jags spread it around and cut of the side game so Odell went nuclear. Barkley proved he was the baller they thought we was when he ran for like 70 yards for a TD, but other than that he was shut down all day. The Cowgirls took Barkley and Odell off as the major threat, so Evan Engram went top shelf, but still when the O-Line is busted like that, especially with old Iron foot in the pocket, you just won't be able to score enough to take advantage.

The defense is the mediocre to bad thing everyone expected it to be. Landon Collins is still one of the best in the game, Snacks is a beats against the run, Jenkins and Apple do a decent job at CB 1&2, other than that, it is a lot of weaksauce. I think if Vernon wasn't hurt, it REALLY could have made a differnece aganist all the running they were slashing us with on the outside, but I also felt against the Jags he was still adjusting to is change to OLB. We have some easy outs on his big contract after this year, so if he doesn't get on the field and start racking up tackles, he may be dunzo in NY next year.

Credit to Ryan Fitzpatrick for the post game press conference moment of the day when he channeled his inner swag trying to stay humble....

:laughing

Congrats to Frank Gore, he's now 4th on the all time rushing list. :thumbup

What's Connor MacGregor doing at a TB press conference? :laughing

"Two more (questions), DJ needs his stuff back..." and "... the chest hair is mine." were the 2 best answers.

Contrast that with Brady, who even after a win acts like BB is gonna beat him and lock him in the closet if he strays outta line.

I just can't get over the fact that Fitz would denigrate his position as a spokesman for the shield by wearing thug duds. I mean what kind of image does the NFL want to create for itself? Next thing you know players will be kneeling during the national anthem to protest chest hair and glasses so dark they won't even know their name! :x

Vikes, too, they signed Dan Bailey, the former Cowboys kicker.

(Rams signed Ficken to replace an injured Zuerlein as well, but after watching the Rams score all those 2 point conversions, why? :laughing)

little birdie saying Josh Gordon to Patriots.

It's gonna be like that one season with randy moss I bet.

I can totally see that going down. They just have to check if Bill has time to install the brain implant this afternoon.

Pretty sure any QB in the league could connect on 2 yard passes all day. Aside from their defense being garbage, the Raiders has to be the only team with a QB that connects for 28 of 30 and still doesn't have a 300 yard game.

Gordon to NE for a 5th rounder :laughing

Browns gonna Brown.
