NFL 2018/2019 Thread

So who thinks the Raiders will even win two games this year?
Wow, what a pathetic outing.

They'll fall into another win but I've actually thought, I bet Jack Del Rio would have a better record (not with Todd Downing of course)

I thought Eagles fans ate their own feces and Giants fans are too busy smelling each others' rear ends to do anything else.

No, Eagles fans eat horse feces

They do play the 9ers, so there’s that.

yep, and Arizona maybe makes 3.

that's probably going to be it.

good news is that chicago lost, so the Raiders 1st round pick from them is looking better by the week. The vaunted Osweiler offense took down the mighty Bears defense, lol.

They only eat it when they intend to vomit it up on children visiting their ballpark. We only sniff out butts to make sure we don't smell like horses, which will be an invitation for Eagles fans to punch us for no good reason.

the Niners look more competent than the Raiders. just saying. they definitely better coached lol

All he's done is trade the best defensive player we've seen in Oakland in very long time and broke Derek Carr. I feel bad for Carr. Just trade him and send him somewhere he can shine. And just move to Vegas. Pathetic.

I dunno if we can hang that on Gruden. I think Carr was broke already. If Gruden had traded away the best O-lineman leading to catastrophic sacks and stuff instead of Mack, I would get that. I don't know that Gruden is telling him to hold onto the ball so long either.

Watching all the successful young QBs, I am wondering if Carr is fast enough to survive today's NFL. Mahomes held his own last night because he is just so fast. Yes, they lost but he kept em in it.

The lack of tackling is like an influenza virus around the league though and, unlike sacks, it's not so much because of flags especially on runners

I can't figure it out. Guys are just not grabbin on. Chiefs sure weren't last night. A few decent stops but not many. I keep wondering if its some kinda millenial deal or what, of convincing them to practice the discipline or whatever.

Mahomes is also throwing to Hill, Kelce, and Kareem Hunt. Carr wishes he had that kind of talent to give the ball to.

Yeh. They finally got rid of Crabtree, the never fulfilled great receiver we saw with Niners. Cooper is just inconsistent. Those Chief guys will catch that ball if its within reach that's for sure. And so will Gronk and Pats guys as witnessed last night.

Sad sacks. I agree that there is more to be hopeful about with Niners over the Silver and Bleak. Not a lot more, but....

haha...9ers went 0-9 with genius Shanahan before he got his 1st win. Gruden may even have 2 wins by his 10th

you're conflating wins and competence :x

I said it recently, the incompetence of Simpletary, Nolan et al is monumentally obvious when compared to Harbaugh and Shanahan's coaching

The networks sure went all in on the 9ers with 5 scheduled prime time games... :laughing

Geez, they even have one against the Giants... which game will be worse, that one or the Raiders game?

Prime time Niners vs Giants? Toilet Bowl 2018?

yep, Shanahan's one brilliant loser :twofinger

I think the guy has potential, but the jury is still out. Like Gruden, Shanahan has come into the league of head coaching without a resume. Both guys were touted as offensive gurus. Gruden got a ring.

Shanny is most likely one of the better coaches the 9ers have seen in a while. Coaching record will ultimately be the judge, don't you think?

49ers looking like a competitive football team
