NFL 2018/2019 Thread

Look, Fred, Good DE's are hard to find. :laughing

They have an absurd wealth of picks, but is the Grudenator really drafting the new guys? I mean, I assume Reggie McKenzie does stuff?

I guess when you sign a Coach to a new 10 Year Deal, you are deciding that he is the future. Maybe it makes sense that you flush everything, get a crazy boatload of high picks (which they have) and let him build the team in his own image.

Gawd that was a sad performance. I guess they shot their wad against Green Bay.

The Rams are the season's juggernauts. They are going to roll and roll hard on sub-par teams. They have four solid opponents in the next four weeks with only one away game. If they can get through it they very well could go 16-0.

The playoffs are a completely new season. They will most likely have the bye with home field advantage throughout so they are likely to have everything stacked in their favor.

Most interesting game for me will be the KC match-up. I'm thinking KC is the team coming out of the AFC this year. I know, "but the Pats." KC would have won that game if they had played another quarter.

The Raiders only had to be good long enough to get a stadium deal. Might as well stink it up, grab some picks, and save some money while they ride out their remaining time in Oakland. :dunno

Derek Carr...lol

I was at the game. The Niner Defense did exceptionally well. But you can't have the offense fumble on the 2nd play and give the Rams a short field. The D held them to a FG, which was great.

Then after another hold, the Offense fumbles on the 1st play again giving the Rams a short field.

This lose was squarely on the shoulders of the Offense and Special Teams.

No doubt. To me the Rams' D is more than good enough to check nearly all the offenses in the league right now. And their offense is good enough to shoot it out with the best offenses. That adds up to being the league juggernaut in my book. :dunno

I know it hurts to have my 9ers called "sub-par". I'm the one saying it. It's not like we found a groove at some point and made it a game though like the KC game. Sitting at 1-6 is sub-par. I guess I could have worked a Crashlow sort of "if we only would'a" spin to it maybe it would be more palatable?

Your boys are in the toilet with mine, the Raiders, and the Cards. One of them will rise out when the Niners play the Cards next week and become a 2 win team.

You just wait! The Raiders will shock everyone by drafting four kickers in the first round, or a quarterback that can throw a 200 yard pass, but can't hit a running back in the flat.

I mean, if you're building for Vegas, you sell what you have now.

If someone is dumb enough to give you a 1 for Cooper, you fucking take it and run.

As of now, the Raiders have picks 3, 10, and 15 in the draft. That's actually insane if they don't fuck it up.

The Ghost of Al Davis will ensure they fuck it up. :laughing

So you are saying they will use those 1st rounders to take a Kicker who can run a 4.15 40 Yard, a One Handed Tight End that can bench 500 lbs, and a Running Back with Fresno Neck Tattoos who has 36 College Rushing Touchdowns and 6 College Suspensions for PED and Substance abuse from 2 different colleges, who were all projected to be taken below the 4th round?

Cowboys ain’t making the playoffs from the way things appear to be going.

I don’t even think Garrett makes it til the end of the season.
