NFL 2018/2019 Thread

If someone offers a 2nd round pick for Mullens they take it and do the paperwork before anybody realizes what happens.

That's what I'm saying. The Bills MIGHT be your guy if Mullens continues to rock.

I know who may want him...

That shitty Raider defensive play last night could've made anyone look like a Hall of Famer playing QB.

Give it a few more games before anointing him to something grander.

Did I mention shitty Raider defensive play? Oh yeah....

What ever happened to the Raiders decent O Line? I thought this season they cold protect Carr enough so he Raiders would be at least competitive. But apparently not. I heard left tackle was injured last night.:wow

Hard to see them winning another game.:thumbdown

to be a tad fair to the o-line, it's destroyed by injury. Starting LT rookie Miller is pretty decent, but went out on the 6th play. It snowballed after that.

it's an excuse but doesn't explain the lack of preparation. With G Ian Silberman replacing Miller...who the F is the backup LT? Cable was playing keystone cops on the oline to find a decent combo but obviously nothing was working.

and then Carr decides he want to run into sacks. He's playing days appear over. He's skiddish and his confidence in himself and his oline is shot. same as Carr v1.0. He'll make a nice commentator some day. But I would guess he's gone pretty soon too.

Couple tries within the five and four tries on the one yard line and they just. couldn't. do it. Awesome.

Nathan Peterman has thrown 95 passes in the NFL.

11 picks.

That's insane.

Remember his last season when he totally sucked and had 16TD to 4INT?

Before he started his protests, when they asked him to cut his salary in half and he said no and made $14M in 2016 staying in SF instead of $7M in Denver?

Odd that they didn't offer him a deal after he opted out of his contract that next season though, huh

16 whole touchdowns in 12 games?? WOW, What a player!! Good for 23rd best total QBR, tucked just behind Brock Osweiler in 2016.
Also from that unbelievable 2016 year:
29th in passing yards
26th in completion %
24th in yards per attempt
30th in yards per game

remarkable that guy doesn't have a job...

I'm not demanding he has a job. Given the state of some of the leagues current QB's it dose seem odd that he has not had a try out at least. I think he is being treated unfairly but of course that is just my opinion.

I don’t know if he is being blackballed for a fact I just know it’s true.

That being said, I’m going to guess that his lawsuit against the NFL is playing more into his inability to get a tryout than his kneeling ever did.

Kaep isn't the second coming of jesus as a QB

he's also categorically better at QB than several who are starting right now

Arizona could make an argument for giving Rosen a season of.... seasoning at backup
Jags could finally jettison Bortles
Bills.... omfg... seriously?
Miami is starting Brock Osweiler.....

and that's just the starters

you have 10 teams who don't have a backup as good as Kaep is and one injury away from being able to use him

i would be upset if the Niners brought him back right now but the evidence makes it pretty compelling that he's being blackballed

With the breath of fresh air these young QBs have brought to the tired ol NFL, the idea of signing Kap is hilarious. For what? To lose some more and be bummed out? Gawd, I can't believe people think this political shit is why nobody wants him, except that it serves his victimhood.

Just say no to BummerBall. Why wont anybody sign Jay Cutler? I think about him everytime i watch the Bears and see those worthy fans finally relieved of their long national nightmare.

I'd rather bring Carson Palmer out of mothballs than Kaepernick. Besides, think of all the linesman who don't have to by hit by his loser passes. Have a heart.

Kaepernick lost whatever accuracy he once possessed and every defense figured him out. He didn't want to be hit and was just a downer to his team. He might be a nice guy with a great heart for being a social justice warrior but he has no business anymore in today's NFL. And I would argue that Osweiler is worse. Osweiler was doing decently early this season but was obviously a bust in Denver.

You know who else doesn’t have jobs in the NFL? Baalke, Tomsula, and whichever Kelly it was that sucked on both coasts. :dunno
