NFL 2020

It was just a bad bad day at the office. I doubt the field had anything to with it anymore than it usually does.

I'm going to hold out hope that we're the 2011 Giants of 2020. Here's to hoping most of the folks who can get back healthy do by mid-season. :Port

The Giants should be an easy win for the 9ers, they're awful. They barely looked like an NFL team in the first half against the Bears. :dunno

I'm not so sure. Since the new stadium opened our team has consistently been one of the most injury plagued in the league.

Yeah, the aforementioned lack of experience is crippling for this young team. They didn't look like shit in either game, but after seeing that Jets game, it is nice to see that someone out there is actually worse than us, LOL.

Without knowing where the injuries occurred there is no way to blame the field. We’d also need to know if other teams (the Jets) have the same rates of injury. :dunno

Fun Fact, Both teams are on the 5 Most injured in the NFL over 4 years 2015-2018

I don't know for sure it is the field, but the Niners are not the first team to say that shit after having a player injured there.

MNF needs to ditch the gold blazers unless the person wearing it is actually in the FHoF. :x

If you told me one team was gonna have 129 yards in penalties over 13 for the other team, I wouldn't have picked the Saints with the 129....

RAIDUUUUHZZZZ!!!

That field is fantastic; natural grass, good footing, and no career altering or ending injuries. :thumbup

:shocker post of the year

is this what good Raiders football looks like? honestly, I think NoLa had a few more penalties that could have been called too, especially considering what they called against the 9ers with Kyler Murray...

but regardless, it was a fun win. This was vintage Gruden offense, plodding away. nothing sexy. 3rd down conversions and eventually frustrate the defense.

Drew Brees does not look like himself anymore. I'm not sure if the Raiders defense really did it, or if Drew couldn't do it.
but hey

RAIDUUUUHZZZZ!!! fuck ya babay, feels good.

Next 3 games will be tough, Pats and Chiefs on the road, Bills at home...

That stadium, though... :wow

The Strip skyline in the window framing the 90 foot eternal flame that I'm sure Al must be stoking from his current locale is pretty impressive. They've finally become a "destination" team. I'll go at some point. :thumbup

I'm gonna enjoy our brush with giddiness while it lasts!

The flame actually looks really bad.

I thought it was actually going to be fire. It's crappy animation.

I liked that redemption story receiver guys. Jaysus. Hope he can hold it together because he sure is fun to watch.

I enjoyed that game, which seemed weird for a Raiders game for the last umpteen years.

There's only so much you can glean from listening to what he or his teammates say. I get the impression that Waller is the least effected by the move to Sin City because he already went through it, knows what he's left behind, and is willing to help others. It really is a good story.

and hey, throw in Aldon Smith into the convo too. Dude's playing pretty alright in Dallas. Good luck to him.

First quarter looked like it was going to be a route.

Raiders look for real.

No doubt. Vegas really put on a good show, that is my kind of football. Hard defense, hard running, tough, mean, fast, no penalties and no fancy bullshit.

That is how the game should be played. The NO D is no joke, if they can play like that against them, they can compete against anyone.

I’m wondering how many ex-Raider fans stuck their guns and stopped rooting for the Raiders when they left Oakland. When they went to Vegas, I heard so many people say that they weren’t going to root for the Raiders anymore.

I already knew that I would continue to root for them regardless of where they go. If they ever pissed me off enough for me to stop rooting for them, I would stop watching the NFL all together rather than begin rooting for another team.

Just as I suspected. Tyrod Taylor did not test positive for Covid.

The Chargers’ team doctor accidentally punctured his own quarterback Tyrod Taylor’s lung just before kickoff Sunday while trying to administer a pain-killing injection to the quarterback’s cracked ribs, league and team sources told ESPN.
