NFL 2021

Guys... not necessary but tangent to the boil comment.

Don't let your own feelings about a member here guide your path everywhere on the forum.

TOS 3.4

Thank you.

This has nothing to do with my feelings about another member.

The intent of this thread is to bullshit about football.

TOS 3.3, the BS misinformation in the post that myself and Yoda replied to is both unwanted and unnecessary in the NFL thread. There's an entire covid forum dedicated to it.

Sorry for calling his post fucking bullshit, but it was fucking bullshit. This, and previous NFL threads have been a lot of fun and banter about football silliness. I'd rather we keep getting to laugh about how much the Raiders and Giants suck and how pretty Jimmy G is. :dunno

Just like the Thinking thread, there's a time and place for certain posts.

Just IMO, for whatever that's worth.

Your not sorry for it. So please.

He was responding to the Covid causing boils with a disease that cause physical signs.

Just stop being a member mod and post.

LOL...

Damn, The 'phins came to play tonight. I was expecting a boring game with a big win by the Ravens, but Miami's defense has been pretty good.

Damn they are so all in this season. If they don't win the Super Bowl someone's head is going to roll.

Darnold was grinning from ear to ear when he heard about Miller, I’m sure Kupp and Stafford were too when they signed OBJ. This will be an interesting experiment with a catastrophic explosion if it fails.

I know I had mentioned before the Rams going all in this season. So someone with more betting experience than me should come up with the odds for who is going to be scapegoated and fired when/if the Rams don't win the SB.

Do the get rid of the GM who made the trades?
Do they get rid of McVay because they gave him what he wanted multiple seasons and he couldn't finish?
OC gets canned for not being able to call the right plays?
The waterboy for not mixing the Gatorade and water in the right proportions so elite athletes were not hydrated correctly and couldn't perform?
The Defensive coordinator because the Rams vaunted defense couldn't stop the Cardinals from hanging 60 on their asses in the playoffs?

Those would be very long odds if you ask me. They will cut and restructure veterans to make room and sign talent. Much like Belichick, Snead isn't too concerned about their draft picks. Snead and McVay aren't going anywhere. It's obvious this is a win now and 2022 season team. Just like the Seahawks after all their defensive talent aged out or got too expensive, it will take a while to run off the coach or GM.

Looks like the Chefs are back to form.... :facepalm

yeah...sheesh. Failures in all 3 phases. the fake punt was a killer. Mahomie did a good job getting the ball out just before the pass rush got to him. The offense continues to look directionless.

There has to be more creativity to get Waller open and present a semblance of a rushing attack. I think this goes back to the ineffectiveness of the o-line. Hopefully Leatherwood matures into the player the Raiders thought he'd be, but looking at their recent track record for draft picks, I'm not holding my breath. Having 2/5 of their starting o-line since week 2 is catching up to them. The goal at the beginning was to get rid of the old, injury-prone linemen and replace them with healthy, decent alternatives. But the young guys went down with injury just as easily.

Maybe they can pull themselves out of this death spiral back to mediocrity but I'm not betting on it.
