NFL 2021

Maybe a bounce back game this weekend; something like 8 browns starters are on Covid protocol after testing positive.

I just don't get it though. Like, in 2016 they looked unstoppable. 2017, they had a tough season due to injury, and then ownership goes, "Fuck This Noise, I need a racist from the 90's to run shit around here!"

Gives a 10 year contract to guy who had been on TV for 10 years and it has been a slow deconstruction ever since I guess?

Between Gruden and the Ruggs deal my expectations of success went waaaaaaay down.

Mayock has proven he can't evaluate or draft talent... I wonder if there are any of his e-mails out there? Either way, he should probably go....

I wasn't a big fan of Gruden's return but I'm just a fan so I root for the Silver & Black even if they suck. Someday they're gonna win it all though...

Yeah, I mean the State of Nevada has never had a professional ball team win a Championship as far as I know. You figure just the fact that it would be in Vegas, probably on the strip, in a time of year when it is cool enough to be outside, it will be the single most turnt up Championship Parade in history.

It might be more fun to watch the victory parade than the actual game that year.

:laughing

LOL, this went as expected.

WTF happened, thought they were close to being a real football team?

I think key injuries have killed them together with Ruggs leaving. Without Ruggs there's no one to take the top of defenses. Jacobs is not 100% and they lost a cornerback earlier this year.:wow

It's a lost season, again. Hopefully they can attract better FA talent. I think Mayock is OK on draft picks. It's not always about the #1. Some of the lower tier picks are doing well.

Sometimes it's the talent he passed on...

Mayfield will most likely be out Saturday. If the Raiders win, Covid is the MVP!

Might be the worst HC hire in NFL history.

Guess they go interim to finish the season. Feel good story would be Byron Leftwich returning to JAX as HC and helping Lawrence develop into the star he should be.

THey still need to get rid of Baalke. Jaysus, doesn’t anyone pay attention to that history thing?

I obviously don’t have a dog in the hunt but I hope that Lawrence kid has a chance of developing and isn’t ruined...

I guess Urban will be on the barstool with Chip and other failed college HCs tonight. I have to say, Harbaugh has done pretty well this year after some bad ones.

I just read an interview with T-Law and he seems to have his head screwed on straight, but a bad GM will ruin your team for years and years after he is gone (Witness NYG).

We'll see how long this goes on in Florida and if he'll ever get a chance, but the history of ownership in that franchise does not suggest a promising future.

Bobby Petrino might have something to say about that...

In two messy coaching situations Baalke has been the common denominator. I'm surprised he's still employed.:rolleyes

It's amazing how many people keep getting second chances in the NFL even with bad history. Sometimes with coaches it seems to work but front office ugh nope.

Yeah, but you see the same thing with CEO's right? Industries have certain standards for the skill set to hire those kind of executive positions and if a guy has the right qualifications, he is part of a pretty shallow gene pool, right?

Mayfield's out, and now back up keenum is out too...

Nick Mullens is the new starting QB for the Browns.

Browns are now down 16 players.

They're looking for this guy to put him in...
