NFL 2021

Not disagreeing. I've said previously the only reason I'd be OK with moving on is if Lynch and Shanny don't think he can stay on the field.

Not convinced Trey is the answer (I wanted Fields) but the cap space next year and the draft capital they recoup from trading him is more important.

Sucks cause he should have won a ring, but the NFL wanted Kermit to be the new face of the league and pump up the Andy Reid angle instead of SF winning #6

yes, did you see what happened against Brady last year when they didn't let the KC OLine hold on every play?

Compare that to SF being up 10 with 9min to go. Uncalled helmet to helmet on Jimmy that probably concussed him and no calls over and over on Bosa and Ford being straight up tackled.

Refs influence games. There are narratives. Dunno how else to put it :dunno

Wait, so the team that had gone to the Playoffs every year for 4 years prior to beating the Niners in the Superbowl, who repeated and went to the Superbowl again the year after (and lost), and are now going to the playoffs again this year.

They only beat the Niners, who hadn't had a winning season in 6 years before that superbowl season, and who were a 6 win team the season after that Superbowl and are 3rd in their division this year, they only beat them because of a conspiracy from the Refs, not because KC was the better team?

Kansas City's trophy needs an asterisk, "won by the Refs?"

:wtf

None of the shit you said matters in one game.

If you don't think refs can change games or push narratives, well I'm not sure what to tell you.

And let's not forget that in the SuperBowl that KC just lost, they didn't have 4 of their 5 starting offensive linemen. Even the refs can't change the direction of a game like THAT.
Ref conspiracy? Really? Did you even SEE the KC game yesterday?

I haven't been watching football much this season but,

How bout dem iggles?? Playoff bound! :party

I'm hoping for a Niners and Bucs win this weekend. Avoid the east coast wildcard weekend, play the Rams or Cards. Not looking forward to the first playoff game against Brady...

I mean, they can, sure, but I have seen KC win so damn many games with these 4th Quarter hustles from behind, it just seems normal to me for them.

I hate to say it but KC gets a lot of love from the refs with a ton of no-calls. Even in non-SB games. You have to totally dominate and not leave things to were a call here and there can let bad/no-calls decide the game.

Although I will say the look on the collective face of KC when the Bengals won with some questionable calls that didn't actually go their way was priceless.

Because Mahomes is so darling in his teevee commercials.

It's weird. Sometimes in sports, certain stars are given a lot of consideration in officiating, other times, like Steph Curry, not so much.

it reached a real nadir with Harden about three years ago, when he got his step-back-daddy fouls every single f@ckin time.

It kills me when they get arrested sleeping. They are not being a threat. Yes, they were momentarily before they pulled over. BUt now they are not. So you punish them. THe thing is, never pull over, just keep driving drunk, is the real message. (yes, I know the obvious but still, you will never completely stop people from drinking and driving). This is one of the more obscure reasons that coffee-drinking is a thing at closing time.. Nobody really sobers up, but they don't dare fall asleep. I spose the judge might give consideration, I dunno. Is that why its a misdemeanor and not a felony in this case?

yeah that's not smart. Maybe he decided he was too wasted after driving to the parking lot exit at the Cromwell, pulled over and then fell asleep.

Regardless, he chose to not utilize the 5 thousand fucking ways to get home safely if you're an NFL player. We'll see if the Raiders choose to make an example out of him, even if it was a misdemeanor. It won't look good if they let him play IMO, considering the death of that poor young lady and her dog just a few months ago.

Uh oh...

Bruce Feldman of TheAthletic.com cites sources from both the NFL and Michigan in his Tuesday report that Harbaugh “might be tempted” to leave his alma mater for an NFL coaching job. Feldman notes one source said, “I think it’s real,” about Harbaugh’s potential interest in the NF

And then...

The Raiders head coaching job might be tough for him to say no to given his ties to the organization — he started his coaching career there in 2003 — and the fact that there’s already a solid quarterback in place in Derek Carr. He’s also friends with Raiders owner Mark Davis.

It is worth noting that the Raiders are on a three-game winning streak under interim head coach Rich Bisaccia and could become a playoff team if they beat the Chargers on Sunday. Whether Davis is looking to find a new head coach is yet to be determined.

No.....more........khakis!

Besides, they got their butts whipped at that OrangeFIestaDoritos whatever bowl I was watchin over the holiday...

That would be fucking hilarious. Dude's not a good NFL coach.

It took him a while to get up to speed at Michigan... but still, he was better than Kelly.

Can you imagine the trouble that Urban Meyer could into in Vegas? :laughing
