Ninja H2?

"And it will undoubtedly change the motorcycle landscape forever."

I'm going to guess:
- telescoping forks
- swingarm
- internal combustion heat engine
- seat between and above the wheels
- friction brakes

I want telescoping forks and a swingarm!

Sounds like a supercharger for sure. You can hear it in the beginning of the video when the engine first winds up. And in their press release Kawasaki was talking about a collaboration with their gas turbine division.

Variable gear supercharger is right. They have a patent..
What size engine though we don't know.. Most likely 750

Kawi is going to build a new 750 I4 for this project? Sounds like a liter to me but a boosted 636 would be nice too.

I read somewhere that it may be a 750cc triple...throwback to the H2 Mach IV which was a 750cc triple two stroke

Ooooo...sounds like forced induction, a baby blow-off valve.

:laughing

There would most certainly be tickets. Lots and lots of tickets. I would be too busy giggling to care. :rofl
That's what I called my ZX12R after all the mods, my "giggle bike."

You'd just be ridin' along & burst out into giggles. The beastie was so fast it was just flat hilarious to be riding it on the street. :rofl

It might be a literbike..
Apparently Jeremy Toye says its going to be big displacement..
Possibly a replacement for the zx14r. Don't think it will be a race bike but who knows.. Waiting on Sept 30 to find out for sure!

You're all overthinking this. All I hear is:

Why wouldn't you ride them fast? (Or at least as fast as they can go; 120-130mph?)
H1 and H2 engines in relatively modern frames with relatively modern brakes and suspension?
You ever ride the originals? They were scary at high speeds.

Anybody remember these little experiments?

H1 in a '86 Ninja 600 frame?

Or an H2 in a ZX7 frame?

Good little article HERE about a Gilera 125 turned into a "Gilerasaki" 750 with 92hp in 125 frame.

So on the 30th of this month we will get our first look huh?

There is NO way its going to be a liter bike or bigger with a super charger. Way to much power for the general public. A zx10 puts out 170-175 HP (stock). With a super charger. That would easily go to 220-230. With that weight!!! No way. And as far as a zx14. It would be around 260!!!!! :wow. No. Its going to be a 750 triple and its going to probably put out around 180 with LOTS of torque....:thumbup

That's 170 HP at 12K+ RPM, but very little power low down. If Kawasaki used a supercharger to boost low-end power but not the top end, that would be quite interesting.

FTFY..
Mines at about 185 up top.. Power down low could be better but gearing sorts that out.. Variable gear supercharger so maybe..

The latest release, Kawasaki is insinuating that the H2 will be following in the footsteps of the GPz-900, ZX-11, ZX-12, and ZX-14...

At this point, they are raising expectations up past the ceiling level, so anything less than market-leading performance advancement would be a major FAIL from a PR standpoint. As a longtime Kawasaki enthusiast (see my bike history), I would really like to see them raise the bar once again. Let's see...

I think I found a pre-release video. It's a Kawi, but it's a test mule so it's dressed like a Honda...

General guess: It will be a 1000cc supercharged bike that will replace Kawasaki's current 1400cc engined bikes as their power leader. The branding seems to be that it will be their new flagship.

Um, yeah, no.

I agree. But I will say this; we aren't gonna see this thing for at least a couple months stateside. My guess is lower displacement and a supercharger to build power.
