I don't think there is any real indication that he isn't ok about the open marriage. Again, they had an open relationship from the start. I Had to look it up, they were married in 1997, and were dating before then. These people are trying to base their entire assessment on one time that they had some marital issues, like 20+ years into the marriage.

These people, let's be honest, mostly men, can't imagine being in an open relationship. They think that Smith should feel ashamed about it. To them, it should eat at him, so they are trying to shame him for it.
 
All the pain that's been conveyed is exactly how you know this isn't a regular open marriage arrangement and the real problem is all the prudes that don't approve. Jada admitted to having an affair with one of her son's friends because he makes her feel in a way that Will can't and Will's choice is to allow her to do that, or not be together. So, mrs muddy shoes and mr floormat have their arrangement, but it's certainly not a healthy one.

Do you have another reason that people are calling Will Smith a cuck? Can you explain why Jada Smith is also being targeted, if anything more severely than Smith is, being called a slut, abuser, and all other manner of ridiculous things? She didn't slap anyone, at most she appeared annoyed and distressed from what she thought was a mean joke, that's it.

I mean, open relationship doesn't mean it's free for all on everyone, unless that's the understanding. I've never known anyone in an open relationship where they can just spend their nights with whoever they want. I don't know the boundaries they set. I'd guess exes are off limits. And I'd guess your son's friend is probably not the best choice either...
