I thought he made a great effort.

On a related note, I think Kane's playing through an injury. He just doesn't have the speed and the edge that he had a couple of months ago. I bet after the season's over it comes out that he was playing with some kind of injury.

Are they going to implode from 4-0 in the first round to 0-4 in the second?!? They just can't make it happen against the Canes.
 
I am not as doomsday about last night's game...I felt like we generated lots of quality chances and just hit their goalie for the most part. And the Avs got some bounces.

They beat us fair and square.
 
Felt like a lot of standing around and not moving their feet enough. Couple that with some poor turn overs and the result is the result. Think Jones played well though. Can't steal one if nobody scores.
 
Stellar performance by Jones. Excellent opportunistic scoring by Hertl.

Karlsson is a generational talent. Haven't seen a Dman skate like that since Scott Neidermayer. This makes me hopeful.

Going to be extremely tough to close it out in COL. keep it simple. short shifts.
