I think its really sad to see so many old time barfers gone because they don't like the current police state manner that barf is being run.

Fortunately Marco is a friend, so I will see him other places.

While I like the people running barf personally, I fucking hate the rules this place is being run by currently. The current rules run off or piss off all the bad boys, rule breakers and people who don't like to mince words or take shit from anyone. In other words, the fun entertaining outspoken people.

I understand why its being done, Budman wants to clean up motorcyclists image, and make barf a more family friendly atmosphere.

Unfortunately these long bans just piss people off, not only the people being banned but all their friends as well. The result is a lot more people saying fuck barf these days, and no longer posting here.

Personally, I think its better not to run off these people. There is a lot to learn from the "bad examples", not only are they educational but entertaining as well.

If barf is really here to help riders, it wouldn't be running off riders like the ones who say fuck old guys and fuck the police, fuck the mods. I'll ride hwy 9 anyway I like. Its funny, entertaining and educational for the new riders to see these guys get busted by the police or wad their bikes up shortly after acting like idiots. Its also fun watching them grow up and learn from their mistakes, eat humble pie on the boards where they once acted like fools. But unfortunately, lately barf runs these troublemakers off, so there wont be as many learning/entertaining opportunities for the bad boys, or the rest.

Most of my riding friends dislike rules, as motorcyclists we love freedom. I hate the bs rules that get people banned as well. Whats funny is the problem isn't the words, people can say fuck all they want. The problem is some here have such thin skin that they cry when someone they don't like says it to them. Fucking crybabies, ruining everyone's fun by getting these stupid rules enacted.

We are motorcyclists, grow a thicker skin for gods sake. Man up you fucking sissy's. Stand up and ask for these stupid bannings over insults to stop.

The board loses when these people leave.

Just in the last month, Com3, VRTZA, Bad Dad and many others. Do you really want to perma ban and run these people off barf? Because if thats what barf has become, many more will turn off the barf channel as well.

These days I see a lot of old time barfers/friends sharing entertaining stuff on facebook, but no longer on barf. Thats a damn shame, and barf loses out when that happens.

BARF just needs an adult section, where grown-ups can be, you know, grown ups. Default membership bounces you to the kiddie pool, and once a member has their feet wet, they can go ahead and join the big boys.

Lately I've noticed quite a few really early barfers posting up, ones I couldn't remember seeing before, less vocal members.

Having some of "our" personalities leave IS tough to watch.....On the other hand...how hard is it to follow the TOS ?

I'd rather talk about it, with you, over a beer.....which is a pleasure many posters will never know about, and is another issue that's hard to deal with....people who won't show up in person and own up to their on-line posting.....for whatever reason

I know planegray personally, and I don't think he was baiting. In fact, I think it's a legitimate question. Because it was bad dad (who I also know personally) who apparently asked to have his account closed. So he's not here by his own choice.

Reading droop's post makes me wonder, just like planegray, what exactly was lame? Was bad dad lame for asking to have his account closed?

I'm not baiting here either. Frankly, I was also a bit confused by droop's statement. And now you've put planegray, who is a great guy, in an awkward position.

You directed the post at Corndog and me. I responded. I don't count myself as among the people whose opinion matters, but I do think I've been an objective party and was following the deal as it was going down.

Of course I'm not privy to behind the scene communications, nor would I want to be.

Perhaps you can put your stirpotting in a better light. :rolleyes

Edit: I'm pretty sure I was very clear in my post that I WASN'T speaking for Droopy, now if you can't see that, I can't be more clear.

Eh, it's not brain surgery going on here. You like barf, great. You don't then try to make it better vs chronically complaining Or just leave and find another place that's more to your liking. It's just like real life, not everything stays the same and can please everyone at all times. Some get sand in thier vaginas others know to keep their lips closed when it gets windy.
