There was other justification (however flawed it may have been) for those invasions. So if Bush said he was on a "mission from God", again I ask what is the effect? I doubt you could say that if Bush did not think that, we would not have invaded those countries. So, there is no net effect to that belief and thus no effect on you.

in all seriousness, i really and truly hope nothing drastic is involved with the lives of the innocent nor the gullible followers of these doomsday profits on this day....

somewhere, i believe this guy knows his claims are very slim for it to happening and if he has a god complex with a big ego, who knows how he may drag others with him due to his folly...jim jones, applegate,koresh, etc

or he can be one of those who may try to start the end times and do something similar to the japanese subway attack...

You fail to miss the point entirely because of the fog of hate you have for religion.

Lets try to put it more simply. Does a persons stated reasons for an action matter if the action has other valid (possibly more) justification?

Lets try an example that does not include religion (but something just as charged). Person A kills person B and says he did it because of person B's race. However at the time he killed person B, person B was committing a homicide on person C. Does person A's reason for killing person B matter?

edit: In the above example it must be noted that there would have been no other way to stop person B other than killing him and person C attests to this fact.

This puts me in a bit of a quandry im not sure if im going or not. do i prep my bikes for storage so who ever is left can inherit them? I know I dont want to be on the highway when all these drives get raptured thers are goijng to be alot of umanned vehicles moving at highway speed for a little bit.
Dam just when i figured we were safe intil 12/21/12 this pops up its always something. Im wondering if some people are going to go nuts in anticipation and if churches are going to have rapture services so they can all be raptured as a group. Im goig to be in Arkansas for the week prior to the raputre i hope it doesnt hit early id hate to be stuck in Little Rock thorugh the tribulations. its bad enough under normal conditions. Crap if I do happen to get raptured whos going to feed all my animals? Dam I really didn plan this very well.
